  2. I have now warmed up enough for one testicle to descend back into place and my hands can move enough to be able to fit the tiny number plate.

  9. Crate Engine bought last year as a spare in case I decided to modify it for track purposes. However circumstances changed and it has not been used. Comes exactly as the photographs with standard sump. Now rare. Will supply with spigot bearing and westfield short oil filter . When last available Kit Spares had these priced at over £2000. Asking price £1400 ovno. Collection Norwich

  10. Evening all, Looking round my workshop reveals I have too much stuff that I will not use, which will be useful to someone else. So, it's all going for free. The deal: - You collect it from me from PR5, near Preston, Lancashire (large car required at minimum) - You collect it ALL in one hit - Everything is related to a narrow bodied, live axle car - First come, first served, no dibs or 'I might be able to come in 3 weeks' - Do what you want with the stuff. Use it, split it up and sell it in bits, use some stuff for yourself and sell the rest, build a statue, burn it, put it on @maurici's car so he can crash it into a wall, I don't mind - No questions - Sorry to be 'harsh' with this, but I have done the same in the past and got messed around a lot (I know, really...). All of this stuff is definitely included, and I am pretty sure it's all good to use - I bought the job lot from Luke @ Plays-Kool and had a nosey over it at the time: 4x Original Ford 6x13" alloys (tyres are knackered - perfect for build wheels) Red boot box for a narrow 4x New track rod ends Panhard rod Inertia reel belts and anchors / clips Standard narrow body fuel tank Bunch of jubilee clips in assorted sizes Brake pressure switch Pair of standard Cortina uprights with steel hubs Radiator and fan Pedal box (I think this is the original Ford one which may be worth a lot...) and cover Rear drum brake setup Couple of header tanks Full dash with instruments Steering rack (at least one) Windscreen and uprights (small chip in driver's eyeline) Tunnel carpet Original seat back squab Wiper setup Alternator Coil pack Headlights Assorted hoses, bolts, bits n bobs Thanks all Adam

  11. Do you need high or low pressure @John Dolan - Chairman - Post doesn’t say? I suspect low pressure as that’s the only ones I’ve seen with a glass bowl though. Andy’s is high pressure.

  16. Mid Term adjustment fees are £30... however we do discount this to £15 for just a change in registration. So just to update, £15 has been refunded as the discount was missed 👍

  18. @Qwertyseiw Interesting question.. What would you be willing to pay to have taken away, repaired and delivered back? To me that's the crux ...

  19. A Plan have generally been pretty good, service charge wise, with me. They’ve had their odd moments when you think “how much!” But then when I moved house and had to update the insurance on three cars, it was great. The extremely helpful lady I spoke to took the details once, and did all of it in one go, for one fee only. (I’ve had others insist on per-vehicle fees before I was with A Plan).

  20. Always have good things to say about @A-Plan Insurance THATCHAM however just made a small change to my policy (no plate change) and a charge of over 15% of the policy price is a little steep. A lot of the big boys are doing this for free or a much smaller fee when no other changes are made. Appreciate there's admin time involved but the guy had the change done and the new documents were in the portal before I'd even finished the call. 30 quid for 5 minutes work is a little steep imo. (customer service was great tho)

  34. I take me steering wheel off. Not much you can do if an idiot wants to play silly though is there! Having motorbikes things like this used to play on my mind. Nowadays I just don’t worry. Try having a narrowboat and being woken at 7AM in Stratford upon Avon by Chinese family’s sitting on deck taking photos. Or coming back from the pub and finding a near naked couple misusing the tiller...
