OK, I realise that this might not be to everyone's taste, or even many people's. Bought as a birthday present last December I only got to use it in the Westfield for the first time yesterday morning. 6:15 am and 2 degrees C. For the last 6 or 7 years I've used a variety of beanie hats, the better, warmest ones bought from "Guy Martin Proper" on-line shop. Anyway as I don't really care what I look like so long as I'm warm I ordered this from "greycar" (link below). My god, it's like having central heating for your head. The neck flap makes a difference too. Not cheap but then it is a very well-made quality item even if I do look like Chubby Brown's grandad. Just thought I'd share my findings. https://www.greycar.com/product/long-neck-bomber-sheepskin-flying-helmet/1 point

More noise the better. They need waking up around here ๐. Also anything noisier than my sons motorbike would be a novelty.1 point

Old Jokes Home: An autopsy professor was giving an introductory lecture to a class of students. Standing over a corpse, he addressed the class. 'There are two things you need to make a career in medical forensics. First, you must have no fear.' Having said that, he shoved his finger up the corpse's anus and licked it. 'Now you must do the same,' he told the class. After a couple of minutes of uneasy silence, the class did as instructed. 'Second,' the professor continued, 'you must have an acute sense of observation. For instance, how many of you noticed that I put my middle finger up this man's anus, but licked my index finger?'1 point

My view with things like this, is once you're dead, you're gone, what happens to you, from your own perspective doesn't really matter. But that doesn't mean that what happens next isn't important. It can be, very much so. The whole process from funerals to what happens to the remains, isn't really about you anymore, it's about those you leave behind; it's a critical part of the process of allowing them to grieve and move past it. So whatever you choose may help or hinder your loved ones in the future. I do believe it's so important to consider how choices will affect them to, and to make sure they're "on board" with any less regular alternatives, you have in mind. Sometimes a compromise may be needed. Its one one of those areas that often doesn't get talked about enough in families, till it's too late!1 point

There often a reason behind such thread resurrections - weโll see ๐1 point

Well, they are all there for a specific reason. The floor has been made in sections that can easily be moved and the "joins" fall between the joists. With the noggins in the floor sections will be fully supported. I did think about putting in double joists but I have more wiggle room with the noggins.1 point

Can you offer to leave Piers Morganโs body to science now, or do you have to kill him first? Asking for a friend.1 point

I tend to wear my fireproofs so, I dont really care, but the line of "factory build caterhams and westfiels" is there only dont make his caterham rental bussines too complicated. The truth is that ANY modified or track oriented car driver should wear it. An splitt fuel line is actually just as common in modern beemers than in kit cars.1 point

Wondered why he remains cool under fire? He's ex-SA Police special forces unit sniper, and still works as a contracted weapons instructor. Apparently, when he got out of the truck, he knelt on the ground and aimed his rifle down the road waiting for the robbers to catch up. Hard! It was his off-sider's fourth day on the job, and the first time he's been shot at(!).1 point
