  1. If I haven’t got anywhere safe to leave the steering wheel I tend to put it down my trousers. It’s driving me nuts.

  5. 21 years and 30,000 miles and never had a single problem. If I leave it anywhere like a hotel car park I put a bike chain through the front wheel and wishbones. Wouldn't stop someone lifting it away, but if they're that determined it's gonna go anyway

  8. Hi everyone, after many years of looking, thinking and pondering I have finally pulled the trigger and bought my first Westfield. She’s called Meg, is and sei with a dunnel 2.0 16v zetec and I’m in love! I’m looking forward to when restrictions lift and getting out for some proper drives and meeting lots of like minded folk regards, Andy

  10. Maybe but as we all know that rule doesn't actually apply to the Fog lamp either (despite people still thinking it does)........

  12. I never had any issues. Removed steering wheel when possible, if not then padlocked steering wheel to chassis. Put doors on or cockpit cap to dissuade someone clambering in. Park in most visible area, as Westfields stand out there's always some innocent parties looking at it to dissuade the less innocent.

  13. Set your satnav to Coach mode and trust it. Dont forget to use the GPS co-ordinates for Blyton rather than the postcode though

  15. As I said earlier - you simply will not get a better track day to do as your first one than this. The atmosphere and driver etiquette is always super friendly especially as the vast majority of cars and drivers are from this club. Plus, Blyton is a very forgiving track with plenty of run off. Thursday night is a good laugh - so turn up with beer and stop over with the lads. As for fuel, I tend to go through two Jerry cans plus whatever is in the tank - there’s no fuel on site or within a few miles so bring your own.

  16. Make sure you turn left at the roundabout past the Jet garage and go through Gainsborough, my nav takes me straight on and then left which involves lanes.

  17. I would come straight up the A1 and then off through Retford to Gainsborough. Last bit is narrow which ever way you come to Blyton village but if they get the race bus up there you will be fine

  19. As above mate IMHO.... Personally love the attention it gets and always happy for people to sit in it and have pictures taken....after asking obviously! If you don't like attention or lots of questions, thumbs up and waves, a Westfield is not for you! Mart.

  23. @corsechrisyou're correct about H&S, I appreciate its there for a reason but I survived all those years without any major injuries, and if I did have a mishap then I learnt from it! My younger Brother and Sister would go and play with the air rifles and we knew never to shot anyone and survived.😜 My Dad took early retirement as farm manager from the farm he had worked on which we all lived on for many years after he was told by the agents who managed the estate that if anyone is seen wondering around the yard who doesn't work there and is a relation off an employee they will face disciplinary action.... Summer time was a highlight especially for my 2 daughters as they didn't get to see Grandad in the summer unless they could have a ride in the Combine, this attitude finished it for him. I guess I should point out the farm was purchased some yrs ago by a excessively rich person who made his money through Hedge Funds who only wanted it as it backed onto a house he had built and if he could see land/buildings from his house then he would purchase it......sad really!? I do assume and hope the smaller independent farms are still ticking over as that's where the experiences are to be had still.
