No footage of this, sadly π¬ You will have to try and emulate it sometime! I've stuck a little vid together. Weirdly spent very little time around you guys while on track, barely saw anyone at all, which I thought was pretty weird given the % we made up of the whole day! Not to worry, there will be other times... π5 points

A short compilation from me. First off a bit of JeffC, followed by a lap of Adam.. The car in front is a Toyota .. I think? π and finally half a lap behind Simon and Moley before the car expired. You can hear the engine note change just as I go over the start line. As I'm slowing down the back straight, there's a flash of yellow.. vvrrrrooooom! Sounds nice Russ. π4 points

Day went well for me, just added fuel and drove, didn't really get a clear lap as such all day, only had the camera on for a couple of sessions and looks to be a 1.37 in there if play about with a start finish as there was no clear laps over the start line but suspect the car is capable of way quicker times, which when I watch the video back becomes very apparent think I have been too long out the seat I felt as rusty as an old gate and old age is finally catching up with me as I just find myself not pushing at all but in all honesty I just want to have a few sessions and get back without any dramas. I tried to get Pete to take it round before I put in on the trailer but couldn't talk him into it would have been good to see what he could do with it . Anyway here is a few laps from one of the later sessions I did, think its second lap from the pits so I am still cautious on the tyres and was wondering what the grip levels were after the hailstones!3 points

As you say, @Glen_I, it's a different world, and when greed and intolerance become involved, it can get ugly and very unpleasant very quickly; it's always easy to blame someone else. I remember it all going oh-so-nearly-very wrong when I was disk-harrowing a field (on the David Brown) and it started to wheelie.... it didn't even occur to me to stop, so I kept going, steering by using the differential braking pedals. Still got the harrowing done, but how I avoided ending up in the hedge, I'll never know.2 points

Little bump, not that I'm expecting it to sell on here given we already have fun weekend cars! If it doesn't sell this weekend it's going into storage, where it will become a genuine barn find and will pop many zeros onto the price. Think that's how it works.2 points

Cracking shots Chris. π I had a bit of a mare of a day.. First session, the car started missfiring. Chasing the missfire throughout the day, I swapped the coil, plugs, plug leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, ignition amplifier module, and fuel pump! Never cured it. π To really pee me off, on top of that the clutch cable snapped! .. at least that was an easy fix. I haven't looked at any video yet, but I should be able to cobble something together. Pete took a few pics during one very early (My first one I think) session. He managed to get at least one of everyone except Russ and Simon.. Sorry chaps.2 points

Hello Ross and welcome to the club. The Yorkshire meetings haven't restarted yet, but hopefully will be doing soon. We normally meet twice a month. The first is on the first Tuesday of the month at the Fox and Grapes on York Road, A64, from 7:30ish, then on the third Sunday at the Swan and Cygnet,Denby Dale road, Wakefield, for a breakfast meeting from 10AM. Runs will be happening soon I hope, keep looking out on the forum for details. Robin.1 point

its GPS the sensor is on top of the cage usually pretty good but think the trees round cadders must disrupt it, I was quite curious to see what speed I was hitting, I was right at the top of 5th on the pit straight and up park, I think the CRX felt quicker up there but it was more of a slippy shape rather than brick like !1 point

See thereβs me chuffed with a 1:49 and Jeff is disappointed with a 1:37 π€£ I have so much to learn from you lot!1 point

Some great footage, driving and track action captured @Chris King. I do have to say, you do seem to spend a lot of time with your hand on your knob (when driving!) Are you aware? My usually suggestion is whatever's telling you that you need another gear, is usually right, so go with that instinct, take the gear, and get your paw back onto to the twirly thing!1 point

@corsechrisyou're correct about H&S, I appreciate its there for a reason but I survived all those years without any major injuries, and if I did have a mishap then I learnt from it! My younger Brother and Sister would go and play with the air rifles and we knew never to shot anyone and survived.π My Dad took early retirement as farm manager from the farm he had worked on which we all lived on for many years after he was told by the agents who managed the estate that if anyone is seen wondering around the yard who doesn't work there and is a relation off an employee they will face disciplinary action.... Summer time was a highlight especially for my 2 daughters as they didn't get to see Grandad in the summer unless they could have a ride in the Combine, this attitude finished it for him. I guess I should point out the farm was purchased some yrs ago by a excessively rich person who made his money through Hedge Funds who only wanted it as it backed onto a house he had built and if he could see land/buildings from his house then he would purchase it......sad really!? I do assume and hope the smaller independent farms are still ticking over as that's where the experiences are to be had still.1 point

Lived near farms when I was very young and used to spend a lot of my time βhelpingβ. I was about 6 the first time I drove a tractor, Following the combine with the open trailer. Pretty sure H&S wouldnβt approve. Some years later I did a short stint at the Ford tracor plant on engine machining so helped to build a few hundred.1 point
