Had a big day yesterday collecting my new car from Scotland. Big thanks to @Rush Motorsport for the trailer hire. Its a 2005 SEiW Sport 2000 duratec. 6k miles. Lovely condition generally. Itβs need MoT and tax so today I clayed, machine corrected and then machine polished it on the drive. There were lots of fine minor imperfections but I got them all to a point Iβm more than happy with.....even got the thumbs up from my three year old π Roll on MOT and tax now!2 points

Hi, is used Meguiars DA microfibre correction compound and then followed with the DA microfibre finishing wax. It did a great job but I clayed the whole car to remove any contaminants before I did it.1 point

Hi all, more of a general question than a techy one. Just coming up to 1000 miles on my Zetec with type 9 and Sierra LSD. Being enjoying the loud pedal a lot but notice a quite a strong gear oil smell when the cars hot, absolutely no leaks I can see. Is this normal as I see the diff has a breather pipe?1 point

I'll let you know thanks Maurici. I'm going to wait until my next RR session as I want to include the numbers in the logo π1 point

They normally are without background (the background is the colour of the car) but yes, I can do sticker on sticker and leave a white background.1 point

Sounds brilliant Barry I would be up for meeting up when it all starts back up. Always good to meet new people and learn new ways and ideas of how to spend money on the car haha. Sounds good Ben I'm always up for drive when not busy. Looks like we will slowly be boosting the numbers in Kent1 point

Out of hibernation. I didnβt use the car as much as I wanted last year. I spent Friday doing a few odd jobs on it and getting it MOT ready. New headlights, 5.25 β from 4β, push button to start, fan on Manual switch as well, cooler thermostat. Sadly found the rad has a little hole although nothing came out just there has been some escape in the past. Tempted by Radweld.... Had a quick spin around the back of work after adding a little petrol.... resulted in the fuel cap falling on the floor and immediately a EuroCar parts van running it over..FUkd.... I βll leave the MOT until next month I thinks .1 point
