  1. I think we should celebrate his life with posting some of his best mistakes and funny commentary. Since I posted that, I have watching more of his stuff A good film with him here, explaining his mistakes, his life and more

  2. The voice of motorsport for such a long time! Loved his enthusiasm and loved his mistakes just as much, what a character! The footage of him prodding the huge bruise on Mansell's head will live on forever 😂 Rest in peace Muddly Talker....

  8. That is a great Vid Hedley, and I don't think it's long at all - if anything too short but then I love watching 7 vids. I had my camera in the spot you have it , that is if it was mounted to the roll over bar. I used to get huge vibration but yours seems rock solid. You had a cracking day for it as well. Keep it up and lockdown will over one day so we can all have happy days. Richard.

  9. Aww stick with it Jude, I can't last forever can it. Regarding May, for me it will be exactly ( well the 29th) 12 months since I lost my Collie Rosie, lovely girl she was. At least I still have her brother here. But its about memories , if you have those you have happiness PM me anytime by the way. Richard

  10. Sorry to hear that Jude. Anniversaries of traumatic events like that are always difficult at the best of times. Let’s hope the vaccinations continue to roll out at the rate they have been doing, and some normality can gradually return.

  11. Another few bad days. We are heading for May and the 6th anniversary of our car accident. It keeps slipping into my thoughts uninvited. I'm trying really hard to make every day worthwhile but don't always succeed. I've been 2 weeks without seeing anyone, it's just not healthy for a hooman. Usually when I'm cornered by bad thoughts I do a runner, but we are all stuck aren't we. I'm not bubbled with anyone, if this lockdown happens again I'm going to kidnap some passing man.. Just for entertainment... Ooh did I say that out loud? 😇

  12. Hello all, As mentioned previously, here is the Video. Sadly Not greatest picture quality as I reduce this for fear of YouTube restrictions. Still I am learning slowly, now understanding the basics of the program I am using. All the best Hedley.

  13. I carried on for some years, but it was never the same. So many of my favourite moments of motorsport TV, are the dream team, Hunt and Walker; united in a commentary box somewhere out there once again!

  14. Thanks @Glen_I.... I'm hoping to hear from my chum at LVT next week whether he can get a seals kit from his tech team, in which case I'm hoping I'll be able to fix my MC. If not, I'll be looking for a replacement, and this (or Yorkshire_pudding's) might just fit the bill perfectly.

  16. Oh dear, I appear to be hopelessly outclassed here, another group I have never heard of - again. Although I am a sucker for a violin in any music piece. I need to put away my 80's collections and branch out a bit...😀

  18. I was kindly given a unused tin of POR15 by @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary when he moved house some time ago. I used it to touch up a few rusty areas on my chassis last year. I've just tried to re-open the tin, as I've been modifying the tow bar bracket on the 'broom pilot's' car and need to touch up a few bare metal places. I must have tried for over 10 mins (concerned if it goes wrong I might paint more than expected). I do recall it was tough to open the first time! However it's certainly put up a fight this time . Hence I strongly suggest that you clean the lid and the rim thoroughly with POR15 thinners before resealing!
