This forum has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people typing on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the non-movement of small four wheeled vehicular propulsion, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small four wheeled vehicular propulsions that were unhappy. This thread tried to solve most of the owners of small four wheeled vehicular propulsion's angst by their small four wheeled vehicular propulsion being largely out if sight under very large rectangular pieces cotton looped drying material while they complained about something (it didn't matter what that something was, one day light bulbs the other who knows what) However that didn't account for the compulsion to guide said small four wheeled vehicular propulsion being away from bypasses which are devices that allow some people to dash from point A to point B very fast while other people dash from point B to point A very fast. People living at point C, being a point directly in between, are often given to wonder what's so great about point A that so many people from point B are so keen to get there, and what's so great about point B that so many people from point A are so keen to get there. They often wish that people would just once and for all work out where the hell they wanted to be. However the inherent angst was driven by the absence of driving from c to c along anything that didn't resemble a to b, but in fact if plotted by the sane would show a meaningless chain of zigzagging on byways away from square yellow boxes beside byways. And no-one asked the yellow boxes how they felt!3 points

In the sunlight of day rather than the light bulb of evening beverages, I'm rather impressed with myself!2 points

Wholeheartedly agree, it’s very impressive the amount of effort and care the “professionals” are putting into it to make it happen.1 point

My wife’s has been working in the vaccine hub covering various shifts as either a data input or running the show as operations manager and had both of hers as there’s normally spare shots at the end of the shift, nothing goes to waste, and I’ve had the call tonight, had 10 mins to spring into action which I did, sat down ready and there had been a miss count the first time ever 😬 so I’m now on the reserve list for next Friday. The nurse was beating herself up so much, but you know what, it’s no biggie, I’m not worried but you can see how much they are all, putting into this roll out. consequently, I will now fill the poll in next week 😄1 point

Be a good idea to know where you live Mr Fish and we’ll suggest help nearer to you. Our local group can corner weight for you, usually in spring we have a weigh in day. Rob Cooper can do geo as he knows our suspension set up inside out. Oil and fluids servicing, diy.1 point

@Buzz Billsberry is still a member Jon, he doesn't post that often now, but maybe he'll drop in. 😉 So, all you need is another track car, ..chop chop! 😎1 point

Ha, yes, that's me. A bit greyer these days though! 😁 I think you're right, that does look like Buzz, he first asked me about buying my SEiGHT at that trackday I think, it was certainly at Elvington. My last outing in that car was at Cadwell, but I'd already sold it to Buzz, so to say I was treading very carefully is an understatement! Have done Elvington about 4 times, including one organised by Mr Aspen (I see he's selling a SEiGHT right now). Was always a good informal outing, I particularly enjoyed open-pit format as it's good for tweaking dampers / ride height / geometry, etc and then immediately being able to go out and see the results! I tore through a brand new set of Yoko 32's or 48's in one day there, as it was a very abrasive surface being an ex WW2 airfield. In fact I remember being there when the full straight was opened up and the TVR owner's club were out in force going for 'V-Max', but they were gutted that it hadn't been road-swept as they were grit blasting each other at 160mph+ 😲 Jon1 point

Got a new alarm system in the house with an extra sensitive CO sensor in the garage where my gas boiler is situated. Problem is that’s where the wee car lives, so I had to devise a bypass exhaust extension. I was able to fashion this over a few weeks by trial and error out of my eBay habit. My experience might help others in same position, or just to avoid CO poisoning when running the car in their garage. Parts: 2M length of wide bore silicon flexi pipe ”L” bend wide bore silicon pipe Reducing silicon adapter for inside flexi pipe and L bend high temp silicon to seal inside pipes Clamps and large jubilee clips to secure pipes and L bend to exhaust edge The above setup now allows me to work indoors with doors shut if engine is running without setting off CO alarm.👍 pm if anyone wants more info.1 point

I did think the fact it would need to move a disadvantage, then I thought you've got someone slow in mind, that it could work for 😉1 point

Hi Hafod, we have no plans to register it until it is sold, that way the new owner will be the first registered owner on the V5, and it will not need an MOT for 3 years from that date of registration.1 point

@A-Plan Insurance THATCHAM could you double check my renewal. Seeing the posts above some people have had similar year on year quotes. I have also had so for many years until now. I've been quoted with a 50% increase 🤔0 points
