  2. Hello all. I'm new here and have recently taken ownership of my new, not so new Westie. Firstly, forgive the name. It doesn't actually refer to Westfield Sports Cars, its actually my sons initials and the name of my business which is unrelated to the cars.. Been looking at buying a Westfield for as long as I remember. I've been a biker for 19 years, and having a child/business and all my mates growing up and doing the same, my riding has dwindled (especially post covid), so I decided to switch it up and take the plunge (hoping that me and the 4yr old can enjoy it together). I've bought a 97 SEIW Vauxhall Red top, she's pretty good, but as with any new toy, I've started looking for all the jobs I "NEED" to do. I've played with bikes for many years, but this is my first foray into the proper sportscar market amd I'm a little nervous to fettle. Looking through the forums it really is a wash of helpful, knowledgeable people, and it seems that there is always someone who has been there and done it, so I apologise if there are some stupid questions... As I see lots, pics are compulsory.. so attached is the day I got her.. I've not given up in the bikes, im just waiting until I grow a new garage.. Ps, thats not me in the drivers seat.

  3. I’ll tell you what @Paul Hurdsfield - I’ll contribute Β£10 to a club charity if you manage to get one of those young ladies to wear your 30th anniversary shirt over her bikini and post a photo in here. /that’s me winning the 2022 calendar photo of the year contest! πŸ˜„

  4. Some of us are just grateful that reputation points don’t include points for bad things we’ve done, in which case the esteemed @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary wouldn’t even be in the Top 10 as we went racing into the lead.

  5. @Jonboy don't worry, if there's a Stoneleigh 2021, you'll be there. We prepared twice for Stoneleigh this year and neither date happened As @CraigHew suggests, the Team will recommence discussions in the New Year. You won't miss advertisements for the event on here or in the Westfield World Magazine. As well as free entry for kit owners, the WSCC also provides free camping, food and drink for club members who help over the weekend. Helpers spend a few hours on the day(s) they attend helping to run our great stand. You may be selling teas and coffees, helping members Park, greeting visitors to the stand. It's a great weekend and also a great way to meet fellow WSCC Members. More details about volunteering will be forthcoming as 2021 Show Preparation advances etc.

  6. Well Boys and girls where do I begin? Today is our first day out of quarantine. We rose at 6.30am for an 8am check out from our hotel, from there it was straight to the airport for an 11.20am flight to Phuket. On arrival Paul Jnr met us in a taxi and off we went . . . . . to Phuket marina, there a tender was waiting to take us to some little boat anchored somewhere, we were greeted by a large group of Paul’s friends, I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story 😎 As I mentioned earlier some of Paul jnrs friends were there, if you are easily offended don't scroll down anymore πŸ˜‚ Merry Christmas everyone πŸ₯‚

  11. @Jonboy.Hopefully we will have some shows and runs next year in the Yorkshire area, you're more than welcome to join us. We would normally be heading to the east coast between Christmas and the new year, but looks like we won't this year. Keep looking out on the forum for anything coming up. Hope to meet up sometime. Robin.
