Our last day of quarantine today, day #14. Tomorrow we check out at 8am for our first taste of freedom since the 8th of December, we got our negative results from our final swab test yesterday so all is good in our little world So I thought a bit of music is required. This is one of my favourite soul records from the sixties. I bet 90% of you have never heard it3 points

First trip out to Caffeine and Machine in Stratford on Saturday which was a decent run out from Bewdley and made a change from the usual drives out West. COVID restrictions in place but they were really well set up to take orders and the shop was open subject to restrictions. Very cool place and will most definitely be going again !3 points

Hi all Following a committee meeting last night we have taken the decision to cancel NMNC21 with a look to re-organising Q3 21 or 2022. With regret the CV19 situation is too uncertain at the moment to warrant booking ferry crossings/buying cars/booking accomodation which would likely need to begin in January. We decided the best decision was to call it early to avoid participants being landed with costs. Have a great christmas and look out for NMNCQ321/22 The NMNC21 organising team1 point

Made the most of a very wet day to go get ECU re-mapped. I thought the 160 mile drive in the pouring rain in the daylight required a lot of concentration this morning - the first 100 miles on the way home in the dark was far harder, the last 60 after the driver's wiper had flown off to go live in a hedge near Stonehenge was hardly any fun at all! My car / hood combo seems great at keeping the falling down rain out but rubbish at stopping the road spray coming up the gap between doors and side walls - resulting in a very wet right arm and liberal use of Tesco bags for life on the way home. Suppose it's my fault for not just borrowing a trailer. π Full tech info in correct tuning / performance /rolling road forum.1 point

I am very sorry to have to report that the Continental bakers and patisserie in Minehead was broken into last night. There was a lot of damage and sadly all the pastries were taken. Police have confirmed they were Stollen!1 point

Can I ask members NOT to reply to any post in here. This section is for membership info and is the ONLY area that ex (or SORN) members can post and thus circumvent having to be a full member. That is not fair for those who are fully paid members. Please respect this.1 point

I'm just asking for the recipients to make a donation of their choice, to either of the charities. No money will come my way.1 point

I did think that, and it was suggested during last nights meeting. For me though, the enjoyment of NMNC21 is the journey and the beers rather than the actual track. We decided NMTC21 would end up being a very expensive TD in a crap car π0 points
