So after getting no response from a radiator specialist that was recommended to me (despite me talking in person to their MD they didn't bother replying to the emails I sent that they had requested!) I noticed @Westfield Parts Dept were doing a Black Friday discount. I also needed some other parts so I called them yesterday morning and placed an order. Some of the parts have 8+ week lead times (due to COVID and/or normal manufacturing lead times). However some of the parts they had in stock and I was told they'd be couriered next week due to how busy they were (I'm assuming because of the deal). Imagine my surprise when a large package arrived in the post today with some shiny new parts!!! So a big shout out to @Westfield Parts Dept ... thank you for the quick response and I have my fingers crossed the items on order arrive quickly as well 🤞

Took advantage of the cold dry weather to take the Westfield out shopping for emergency supplies (how did we run out of tea!). Very quiet on the damp slippery roads, and I had forgotten quite how easily the wind rips through a wooly hat.

MOT time this morning. That's another pass. Question is now, "do I SORN, or not".

Same experience here, powerlite hi-torque starter motor and a couple of spacers ordered yesterday and arrived mid morning today, even before the Black Friday discount the starter was ~10% cheaper than direct from powerlite. I also ordered new side screens that are on back order and not expected for ~8 weeks but I wasn't charged anymore for p&p and I was more interested in the 15% discount than when they'll arrive as the car is likely to be SORN'd until March/April. A big 👍 for the Westfield Sports Cars Parts Department.

I appreciate you're less than happy, but It's not exactly a secret that lots of firms have black FRIDAY sales. Westfield have for quite a few years. So perhaps you should have waited etc. 1 extra day on an item with a published 3-4 week lead time, wouldn't have hurt so much. Did you ask if they were having a black friday sale?

Congratulations on the pass. Quite simple really “NOT” there’s plenty of fresh, gorgeous days over the winter months yes chilly and give the roads respect, but it’s great to get out on a nice fresh morning December or January 👍

It’s a one off built by John Nash many years back. Steel chassis and bespoke handmade wood and aluminium bodywork. Engine box and front end are Renault 5 the 6 pot exhaust is for aesthetics. he also made a 4 wheel one

Been happening for years already, look at some of the joke phev cars that circumvented the company car tax regs. When in reality they were far more gas guzzling than normal petrol/diesel equivalents.
