.......which also comes with a moral! First off I have to say that the Munter performed very well indeed and as the sessions went on I felt my confidence growing to hit the corners with less brakes and more speed, it was certainly keeping up with most on bends. Second session of the afternoon, were flying, dry, crisp, sticky tyres, perfect. But then hitting the big right hander after the start/finish straight the front left gave a bit of a shudder, felt like the tyre had punctured, so I slowed to limp back to the pits, the shuddering grew worse, now I’m thinking it’s properly flat! Another knock and it felt like the tyre had come off the rim.........game over?//// pulls onto the grass and got out to investigate...........the wheel had fallen off just as I stopped 😲 The yellow flag had now turned to red, along with my face in embarrassment, rescue came in a pick up with a flat bed behind, but luckily I spotted one nut on the track, and we hoisted the car up off its brake disc, attached the wheel with two nuts and I made it back to the pits under my own steam. I honestly wanted to crawl into a hole, I’d managed to red flag a track session. So the moral of the story guys and (girls)...........always check your nuts (ahem!)6 points

Left a 9.30 and just home now 270 miles. Left in lovely autumn sunshine and made a bad decision to go west !!!! raining and windy at Fort William where I fuelled up then onto the Corran ferry and then along the loch and mountain side, a single track road with sheep and cattle on it and so much water a boat would have been better, but so enjoyable. At the mallaig road I turned back towards Fort William and you could see the snow line just under the clouds. Back along loch laggan with the weather brightening and stopped for a fish supper in aviemore then home. Here’s a few pictures from today3 points

When I ran out of fuel at Knockhill a few years back I never told anybody, blamed it on ignition or whatever. Its a bit difficult to deny this one. lol2 points

Actually, another two Bagpusses... Bagpussi?... there’s a Sergeant Bagpuss too! @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO I’ve changed the name of the SORN’d account from “Bagpuss” (which has no posts or activity and been dormant for four years anyway) to “NOT Bagpuss”. Hopefully that should prevent future mistakes - we all know there’s only one!2 points

At the moment, italian regulations allow to register Westfields without CoC that are at least 20 years old. That way the car go through historic registration first, and then can be road registered. But we actually don't know what's gonna happen after brexit Welcome from south Italy @moer_modena1 point

True, hadn't spotted that. Hmmmm.... @Chris King - Webmaster as an administrator and music enthusiast I feel you should police this thread and put @Rush Motorsport on the naughty step for crimes against musical appreciation through not abiding to the spirit of this thread, before links are stretched to just having one letter/number in common 😛1 point
