Now then, there’s no need for that kind of language Steve, I thought we were friends! An MP? Nope, but if asked very nicely, I might consent to becoming a Dictator or possibly a Despot. Speaking of MPs, it seems Captain Hindsight appears to have taken the term ‘opposition leader’ to simply mean contrarian. I have no doubt that if Boris had said 2 weeks of lockdown, Mr S would be crying about the costs and demanding 200% wages for everyone. I am so p******** of with politicians. We really, really need leaders, not the sort of points scoring and Monty Python 5 minute argument bulls*** we’ve got.2 points

I think my postcode being on the internet would be the least of my worries if I had one of those gadgets 😅2 points

No matter how hard you try, you simply can’t legislate for idiocy. We’ve become a nation of idiots who at the same time seem to need telling how to do everything, yet rail at the instructions and having our liberties eroded. My answer to this. Total lockdown. Anyone catching Covid has obviously violated the rules so gets a prison sentence. Solitary, of course. All borders closed, zero exceptions, enforced with extreme prejudice. 3 weeks and we are virus free. After that period, anyone coming in to the country, and I mean anyone, goes into strictly enforced and supervised quarantine for 3 weeks. None of this self-imposed bulls*** that nobody takes seriously, ‘cos they’ve got rights, don’t you know. Sensible? Of course not, but it would work. The second you try and be sensible, it all turns to ****e and you end up with half arsed compromises. What else can you expect with two mutually exclusive goals.2 points

Impeccably well thanks adge. Only slight issue is with the fuel tank calibration. Its accurate at full and at empty, but in between its obviously not as linear as I thought. I had done 120 miles and was at 30% so chickened out and refilled but only got 17 litres in (tank is around 35) so at least I now know 30% is roughly half. I'll do a proper calibration over the winter some time. Does mean it did over 30mpg which I was surprised with. Which I'm sure your enjoying in the rocketeer as well Martin!1 point

You need to learn how low you can go and what the gauge shows when low, One occasion was after a visit to the Evo triangle and we enjoyed the first lap so much, we thought we'd have another lap. We then headed for the nearest fuel station. Which was a single pump diesel only station. We then tip toed to the next garage. I think I'd got 2 litres left.1 point

@Rush Motorsport haven’t you driven Andy’s S2000 as well as my Zetec? Both with cage and aeroscreen so should be a reasonable comparison.1 point
