Late to the party. A couple of vids from me. First one, me chasing after @Michael Whitworth until I pass, then a couple of laps from the rear camera. Second one, is pretty similar to start with. Pete chasing Mike, and then getting a few clearish laps afterwards.3 points

Accepted, shame to be virtual again, but I do agree, it’s the better option given pandemic situation. Andy2 points

Hi folks. I’m new to the forum and club, and currently looking for a wide bodied Westie. I plan to use it purely for touring with my wife, and local hoonery around town and country, so not looking for race spec in any way with roll cages etc. Spec I’m ideally looking for is as follows but not absolutely set in stone (I’m aware that I may be chancing my arm, but hey, who knows if somebody is ready to upgrade: Would prefer non Q plate, (no snobbery) just I’ve got my cherished number plate from my last vehicle currently on retention possible 2005+ (long shot maybe so not a deal breaker if earlier) Zetec engine (not fussed re power output) with low miles preferably not motorbike engine LSD Bodywork anything but primary colour (would prefer navy/BRG/dark red/cream, these sort of colours) Comfortable classy interior (I know it’s not a Bentley, but looking for nice) leather seats (maybe 2 tone) not bothered 4 point or inertia belts fully carpeted Full weather gear and doors boot area recent tyres full windscreen Overall package is more important than any one spec If anyone knows of, or has a car they’re selling in next few months please contact me on 0787 056 7909. I live in Glasgow, but prepared to travel countrywide for the right car, with a good history at the right price. I’ll update post once I’ve found a car, so post could run for a while and is still valid if I don’t mark it as “(FOUND)” thanks Duncan1 point

I’d be more than happy to look after the munter because I’m loosing patience with this Audi, and really want more track time.1 point

Do we trust any of the parties, are they all a shambles and some just worse than others . Who is capable of putting it right. I dont see anyone recommending an alternative.1 point

Thanks for thinking of me Ian 👍 I had seen it ,but as the mileage is different from mine and I only need the Speedo I’ve ordered a new one. They’re going to send it with my current mileage entered on to It for no extra charge .1 point

I think the rules are really simple. First is keep 6 feet or more away from people. If that is not possible wear a mask and that includes outdoors on busy high streets etc where social distancing is not possible. The wearing of gloves seems eminently sensible to me (and I always do) and where that doesn't happen, when one arrives home, wash hands with some sort of soap. Doesn't have to be anti-bacterial (d'oh...) soap it just has to be soap. Where areas are going into different types of restrictions it is incumbent on the residents of that area to understand their local rules. Why would the residents of Wales (for example) care about the restrictions of Burnley (for example) other than to moan that one is disadvantaged over the other by (some sort of stupid, pointless) comparison? We see all of the various restrictions detailed on the news and yes I agree that when seen all at once it looks confusing but really no-one has to know all of them off by heart and I don't expect Boris, or any other politician to have memorised the lockdown restrictions for all the different regions individually. What we have yet again is opposition for the sake of easy points scoring backed by an inept and sensationalist media. As a "disease" of our political and media systems, cheap points scoring for the sake of it, or for clicks on websites has been with us for far too long and will be around long after Covid-19 has become a once a year reminder to get a vaccine shot along with the one for 'flu.1 point

Thanks RussH. Just one of the list I was compiling, but good to know. May have considered doing the very occasional track experience at our local Knockhill, but then again maybe not. Just looking for a nice clean car to drive and spend a ridiculous amount of time fettling with!!!1 point

Hold on - might be jumping ship to another TDO who do Croft on the 19th with lower numbers. Waiting on Mike to see what’s what - thanks for the heads up @Andrew1 point

Indeed they do. Never did get round to doing that shootout... half a dozen drivers plus one Lionel plus one Munter would make an amazing day out... Have someone "interested" (not sure how you can be "interested" in a free car, you either want it, or not...) but he hasn't got a trailer. I've said it's first come, first served...1 point
