  5. Red. End of story. You are of course entitled to your own opinion but if that opinion is anything but red, you are wrong. 😝

  9. Another vote for Orange, Kids decided on the colour and I'm glad they did. I'd decided to go for a bright rather then dark colour as I wanted to be more visible.

  10. Weather stayed nice, plenty of cars on display and a good variety. After a couple of laps, I asked the missus which ones she liked - she said she liked the really old ones best. I then asked her what was her favourite car on display? - she said this one... Oh well.

  15. As you all know, there are some great roads down there. Davep1 knows all the hidden gems and I’ve had the pleasure of driving around there with him. Enjoy the day. Whether you are in the show or just visiting Bob

  16. Wow that was a lot of fun! Took it to a track day today (err I mean gave it a full day Italian tune-up), and aside from being a tad underpowered in the straights, it's ridiculous what it will let you do in the corners. I think I had more fun today than I've had on a track day for a very long time. To top it off, the heavens opened towards the end and I went from being the slowest thing out there to the quickest. And then it flooded and I was the only thing out there. Then they closed the circuit the spoilsports. This thing would have run circles around the ark I swear. It was ridiculously competent in those conditions. Anyway, I've reduced the price to reflect that it now definitely wants 4 new tyres soon. Though part of me still wants to keep it, I've just got no more space on the driveway. Now that I work from home, it's lost it's commuting role so despite being enormous fun as a stand in track car, I can't keep it.

  21. I had a yellow and black Westfield, and like every other yellow Westfield I've seen, the yellow bits attracted bugs! Yellow looks good on the car, which is why its such a very popular colour.

  23. I saw that it was a 'static only' meet? it's at the Jug and Glass I believe, I just hope the pub has had a change of ownership since Glen and I went, a 'wipe your feet on exit' kinda place.

  28. Had thought about showing the car, but figured I 'wasn't down with the Man fencing me in' for the whole day. But we'll be there after 10 for a couple of hours, for a Dingo's Breakfast ( a p*ss and a look around).

  30. You live and learn, I had misunderstood, so the 208 kit is essentially tapered throttle bodies, assuming you have the SBD designed (or similar) exhaust and an ECU controlling Fuelling and Ignition? Jim

  32. Hi Paul Mine is the same spec as you're after (not for sale), if you'd like to have a gander - if the weather is favourable I can take you for a wee blat too, she's not moved for a couple of weeks. The missus is doing her own thing Sunday afternoon, so I'm free if you've nothing on. I'm in Bellshill.
