Lovely run out this evening after a day of fitting stripes

For anyone wanting to come and be a pretend helper I've just been informed by someone that's spoke to oulton park today each driver booked on track can have four 'helpers' each,and they don't need to arrive with the driver 👍 Just give the booked in drivers name to the person on the gate 😁

Hi All, Just seen that Anglia car auctions are selling Chris Smith's original Westfield registration VTL715. I believe from the books that this is where Westfields came from and our humble hobby began. https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic/sat-22nd-sun-23rd-august/1963-westfield-eleven-no-1/ Its estimated £20-25K which is inline with what the newer ones go for without the heritage. They also have a lovely SE in British racing green up for sale with a fair estimate on it of £5500-6500 if anyone fancies increasing their stable. Might buy a scratchcard at lunchtime

I could never get that over to my Dad. He always throttled back the stopcock when he went on holiday, but demonstrated the error in his ways by putting my thumb over the tap spout after he'd turned the stopcock almost off. Opened the tap... He was quite good about it once he'd dried his specs!

We were out with some hot hatch guys on Monday night - It was wet red flagged frequently for cars going off and engine issues. Had some great days/evenings since the end of lockdown. Fortunately it's only 30 minutes from my home. If anyone is driving up wanting storage overnight for trailers or cars i have lots of space. ( In Perth ) Very handy for GRP and carbon repairs!

Fitted the bonnet vents, windscreen wipers and given it a good polish... Still waiting for the IVA date G.

Booked, Planning on the Radical SR3. It will be great to see a few Westfield out. Neil
