I hope I'm not boring You with those pictures and videos of my Westfield, but every time I take or get from someone else some pictures, or have a chance to drive and record some video onboard (especially when winning in general classification like below ) I want to share my emotions and present this Great Car to the World So hope You , as as well Westfield's Drivers understand me , and forgive me another video with snapshots included in it :5 points

@Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) , @TableLeg the deal has been done and I'm now awaiting delivery of a New old stock bonnet for less than the cost of the fibreglass repair kit and a decal! Thanks everyone for your ideas and assistance. Once again, this club proves itself to be above and beyond what could ever be expected. 😁3 points

It's always worth checking your details at renewal too as a small change could make a difference. Things like mileage/useage - occupation. These can change over a year and many people who've got married, retired and now do less miles just automatically go "no changes, same as last year" then we check the details and they go oh no she's my wife now (changes from insured and named, to insured and spouse), I'm retired (no longer need the option to commute) etc etc... Just do a quick run through of the main details and we can check if it effects your premium a lot can happen in a year Also - don't forget how lovely we are at A-Plan 😋 Carlie3 points

Wow, some might say given the NWKCOG's crash and breakdown record, there may only be single figure attendance from them, this year then 😄2 points

None of them. A mate of mine does weather forecasting for the Met Office and he says 72 hours is the absolute maximum time in advance they have any sort of firm idea what the weather will do 😅2 points

I may be in business soon with a new cheaper track toy. I suddenly realised that I have a trailer and nothing to put on it! Someone’s got to keep an eye on @Chris King - Webmaster and Joint North East AO and the rest of the Track day rabble 🤪 Almost went for a MX5 but would never be able to live up to Lionel 1 or 2! just waiting to see if my offer is accepted before I spill the beans.1 point

Be careful assembling wets.. they are very soft and sticky. Its easy to damage a rim. I Have a fair bit of experience with them...1 point

Mat at Procomp is a mate of mine and he hasn't been too well lately. However, hes pretty much recovered and working again. I've just spoken to him and he asked me to post the following:- I'm back working normal hours and I am still revalving dampers and sorting springs and geo setups. Contact. 07825544254 https://m.facebook.com/Procomp-motorsport-376574512390043/ Thanks Mat1 point

I'm a 'maybe' for this one - weather looks OK(ish) - bit cool first thing, but I can always use my Aldi heated seat cover.... I'll probably need to leave early though, as it's my grand-daughters 8th birthday and there will be cake......1 point

May be able to make it to meet and say hello at 9am but have to be back for 10.15 as Gemma is riding. Luke.1 point

Is KGM a new underwriter A-Plan are using? Just got off the phone with Kerry and switching from Highway to them has saved me about £50 (granted, some of that was ditching legal cover, so just over £20 really). That's still quite a saving percentage-wise and has saved me the bother or shopping around again 😄1 point

Always to sides to look at something..... If they can afford to give back £25 to all policy holders, perhaps they were overcharging to start with.... Mart.1 point

To be honest, the seller is right about how much development work would be needed to reliably get that sort of power (and control the heat) - hell of an achievement!1 point

I agree I will be having the conversation with my insurers when renewal time comes around!1 point

I've just spoken to the MSV Team, they apologise for the delays and site people returning from furlough as delaying matters. I've been told the online tickets will be available to download at or by the weekend. Those waiting on posted passes should get them early next week.1 point

Only Admiral in UK AFAIAA. https://www.admiral.com/stayathome "We were delighted to give back £110 million to our car and van insurance customers in recognition of them staying at home and driving less during the UK-wide Coronavirus lockdown. A £25 premium refund was automatically given to all customers for each car and van that was covered by us on 20 April 2020 - a total of 4.4m vehicles. We gave customers the refund to reflect that there were fewer cars on the road during the lockdown, and our customers drove less, which resulted in fewer insurance claims." IIRC payment was made in May 2020 but I'm not with Admiral. I reckon it's pretty shocking that no other insurers have followed suit.1 point

Just keep trying let it ring and ring , they’ve furloughed a few staff but are still working .I ordered a pair and it took 5 weeks from order to dispatch .My last call was about a week ago oops that’s Protech , on a plus side I dropped my shocks off at Mat Procomp. Last Friday for re valving .He’s Had Trouble with his phones and changed no I think . PM me and I’ll send you his mobile ,you can also get him on Facebook .1 point
-
I think you'll find he's not able to sell them direct to you and you'll need to buy them from Protech or Westfield and then post to him for revalving/balancing.1 point

I went AF as well as they could include 5 trackdays for much cheaper than a plan could. And it's just a blanket 500 xs. However customer service I feel is stronger with a plan1 point

Aplan again for me. They just insured my tin top too and mirrored the no claims to both cars. Brilliant service.1 point

I’ve just done mine through Chris at A-Plan Thatcham and he was absolutely brilliant and came back with a fully comp plan with Markerstudy that blew everything else away and that was for 3 named drivers, one of which has a “hotlist” occupation!! the number for them is 01635 8746461 point

Used to have a neighbour with apple trees, got given loads every summer for years, it was fantastic. Sadly she passed away, and the new house owner decided they were too much trouble and chopped the apple trees down.0 points

Didn't think I was meant to have it, this was the third car I saw and 800miles of driving, picked her up on Saturday, got a mile and a half from the garage and an idiot in a focus ST side swiped me, I took avoiding action and kerbed an alloy, totally gutted0 points
