  1. Hot here today. So pulled the Westy out of the trailer for a cooling off run out.

  2. Thanks for a lovely and well organised meet @Julie Hall - Peak District AO. I broke my cycle wing stay on a Peak District run last year so I blame the rough roads. I guess the solution to not breaking cycle wings has been staring us in the face all along... clam shells! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ P.S. MOT later today so, fingers crossed, I won't be in a German car on the next run out.

  4. I'd check the clutch adjustment first, it may be a simple adjustment fix if its a cable clutch. You are welcome to visit me and I can check it for you. No need for a specialist garage, try Hawkins and shepherd near the train station in Derby. The Owner (Fred] has worked on Westfields before and is used to working on non standard cars. The only non standard clutch part is sometimesthe release bearing.. otherwise its standard Ford equipment. Give me a call if you want to talk through it.. I had my mt75 gearbox out 5 times. Trevor

  5. Thanks Trevor. That garage is well placed, close enough to get a lift home from the misses without being moaned at, I could even get the bus (although it was 10 years ago when I last tried that and I found it very confusing....) The car's got a hydraulic clutch but I would appreciate a 2nd opinion before taking it to a garage. Its not that bad, just the gears (especially 1st + 2nd) are nowhere near are slick as I'd like and at times you have to force it a bit. will give you a shout. Cheers

  16. I enjoyed that lot. Just can't quite place a similar act, but there is a touch of Nick Cave, Matt Johnson and other left-of-fields in him. The first video reminded me (in visual content) of this...

  17. Guys, I have been involved in the build of this car from the start and can honestly say it's stunning. A very nicely packaged car, finished to a high standard. The engine starts on the button, idles very smoothly and sounds great! Personally, I think this is a very fairly priced car for the spec and finish. Anyone viewing the car will not be disappointed. Nick.

  19. That will possibly coincide with the way we changed sending notifications. I wonโ€™t go into details as I simply donโ€™t have time right now, but we had major problems with the old method (Using our own server) and swapped to a bulk email service (sendgrid) - But some email still gets sent from our server. Occasionally sendgrid get abused by a spammer and they get blacklisted. They do this for a living and so get un-blacklisted fairly quickly while kicking off the spammer. We could pay for a dedicated IP and avoid this but it is pretty expensive and unless it becomes a huge issue we donโ€™t want to spend your money on it. ๐Ÿ˜
