Woke the neighbours at 5.15 this morning but the drive throughout North Wales was so worth it. One of those mornings where everything was just perfect, weather, twisty B roads, very few cars about, westfield running sweet.... 150 miles then back home for breakfast at 9. The cloud just visible above the first hill was very dense and completely covering Bala lake. Dropping down into Bala I needed headlights and wipers as visibility was down to about 30 feet. Soon climbed back into the sun on the far side.... This is what a Summers morning is all about.

Had my CXRs painted, so popped out to check they still work.

Went to a Pride and Joy meet yesterday, normally forty of us but 150 turned up. Sat me next to a Caterham, same engines and age but wow it's fat

Stop for picnic lunch today, on one of my favourite loops around the eastern side of Exmoor.

Great day out to Wales. Great Wyrley to Llangollen then to Betws-y-Coed from there to Conwy. Car parked next to Conwy Castle Wall.

Cracking run Gary, great day, hopefully first of many. Missus took the car out herself for an hour when I got back.

Will do Gary. Yes we’ll make sure we are masked up in the shops - funny but not so long so that would get you arrested! We are also always very respectful driving through towns and villages.

Not at all. Lots of waves and smiles. Just remember your masks for the shops and it will all be good I am sure. Now that the family holiday has been cancelled let me know when if you are passing through as time off booked and now not flying anywhere ( don’t know if I am happy or not!!)

A massive thanks to all who made the trip to Glenshee today. Beautiful weather and 26 cars !!! Great to meet up with friends old and new we then broke up the route into sections with regroup points
