We spent the day clocking up another 260+ miles doing the final run through of the route. Not in the Westfield though, too wet, that fine rain that soaks you through, so used my work-hack £900 Suzuki Swift on chinese tyres (only a couple of sphincter clenched moments). Just a couple of tweeks to the route book, and a few additions to help keep everyone on the right track. Have already printed the emergency-lost map envelopes, and will print off the route books this week - I'll print plenty of extras for the flurry of late entrants (hint, hint). Are there any more McWesties keen for the run? - with the Wigwams and Boness cancelled, this is likely to be one of only a coupe of runs this year to justify your toy. Just a day run or make it an overnighter and join the rest of us in Peebles. Those south of the border too, come on up, it could be the highlight of your Westfield year, there's some superb Scottish roads lined up for you. Only four weekends to go!😁2 points

I can't say anything about how they compare with another seat, I do know that the lowest point of the seat on the JK's with the base is , within the thickness of a layer of fibreglass, at floor level. If you see the seats without bases on the page below, imagine them pushed all the way into the base. http://www.jkcomposites.com/sevens/1 point

Id done the same as you.. checked who was sending round my house. if anyone doesn't get why you would want to check that out and has a problem with it. then they are the problem.. not you.. most likely a scam, and you were right to be suspicious. their loss, it was a great buy.. so you had the last laugh its good that you posted this, it will be a warning to others to be care full and do due diligence . cant see them buying much else if they act like this1 point

Hello. I bought my Seight from Andrew at ToyBox. Worth giving him a call as not all of his cars make it onto Pistonheads or advertised at all. Mine didn't. Good luck as they are fantastic.1 point

Barrie. I'm not looking to sell mine but there are several Seight owners on here who can advise what to look for when you find one 😀 Cheers Jon1 point

I'm taking my Good Lady's Nissan Leaf in on Tuesday. I could put it off until January but I hate the thought of having to sort even minor problems in the cold weather. At least I know it'll pass emissions!1 point

After the "incident" I did one slow lap to depo, then checked visualy and trying if there are any bends in wishbones or play on wheels etc. Did not find any and was driving to the end of the trackday 30 or 40 laps more (with best lap of the day edit- here it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYIt2wP3lQY ) Oil sump is ok, no leaks, lower wishbones - not sure if it was before - a little, very little like-a-banana shape but it is maybe 1mm - 1,5mm on the whole lenght of the wishbone arm. Have to check the geometry as it seems visualy that lefT wheel gains more negative camber while right - a little less, and I got impression that car was driving a little right when hands of the steering wheel, but did not measuret, just visualy. Radiators ok. ARB with mountings ok. All wishbone brackets ok . Rack ok. Some scratches and cracks on the nosecone , bu it was not ideal before. Have to figure out some method of quick and easy mounting from the bottom of nosecone... Have to check the rims while tyre changing I was going to do anyway. So, so far I am supprised (positively) of the rigidity of rally design wishbones and all other components and chasis of Westfield 👍 (the marker was plastic , I have heard that sometimeas such markers are filled with water, but not on this track. )1 point

At the moment we cant stay overnight at any circuit, no idea what will be allowed by September though. If it's allowed by then, as far as I know, you can camp at the circuit.1 point
