FYI - DRL's are only in MOT for vehicles first used from 1st March 2018, otherwise not testable. Also a non dimming DRL used as a position lamp is not an issue in itself (no fail) but as the intensity is not to specification then a pass with a minor defect may be used (manual ref. 4.2.3a(i)).3 points

Well I sold my VW T5 camper van last weekend and purchased a cheap little daily driver to free up some funds for a Westy 😊 😎. £30 a year road tax and peanuts insurance, to justify having a kit car sat in the garage all year So Iam now an owner of a Ferrari red Italian car (at least thats I tell the ladies😂) and am enjoying reading and searching for a nice Westfield! enjoy your weekend Ben1 point

No you don’t leave it there all year - the garage is for fixing and upgrading after run outs and track days 👍1 point

I had my car on here and a few other sites. I've been offered a motorhome, 1998 911 cabriolet (who wants one of those...) and silly cash offers. The only reason for sale was to buy another Westie but a project car. So like you I've pretty much decided to keep what I've got and enjoy it. You've probably made a very good decision.1 point

The lunch stop will have at least three shops to buy food, two of them being packet sandwiches etc, and all three offering at least machine-coffee. There may be more open, and more variety, by then. There's also petrol and toilets too. As we are a recognisable (and responsible) group, Scottish Covid rules apply on the day - at the start/briefing, shops etc enroute, and accomodation(?). That means respectful social distancing, and face masks/coverings to be worn in shops etc (as of July 10th). None of this will spoil our day out, it's just the times we live in! ☺️1 point

Certainly. We only ban Uzbekikurdistani Spambots. Of course that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t delete the post and talk about you in a disapproving manner 😁1 point

I tried that..... we were in Madeira, I had my extremely nice Zenneiser earphones plugged firmly in my ear canals, but to no avail, it ended up costing me thousands of pounds..... I went back to SCUBA diving !1 point

It's the 1st July and that means it's time to turn your WSCC calendar over and see what we get up to in the Peak District as I am 'driving' well 'steering' Bill's mighty crossflow into a safe position for the breakdown truck to pick it up from. @AndrewBClarke @BillyPee @BugMan @Andy Westwood oh what fun we had! plus it goes to prove that we don't 'Top Gear Style' leave you if you break down, well not immediately anyway 😃1 point
