Sadly the Shamal is now sold, but there is a video of Harry Metcalfe testing it on "Harry's Garage" (on YouTube). I replaced it with a 2-seat version of the Maserati MC-Stradale which is the fastest road Maserati built (excluding the Maserati MC-12, their copy of the Enzo). Latest on my Westy is that it might finally be ready for collection next week. The problem this week was that the trailer needed new tyres. But on the upside, I've now been told the MD of Westfield has a photo of my car on his office wall! I'll have to check that out in person one day.

I could argue I've got 4 garages, one day I will tidy them, tomorrow maybe! I was hoping that this year there would be a sport 250 being built, now I'm hoping that will happen next year, all depends upon selling the green machine, or not.

Having said that - when I was waiting to get my wristband the javelin bloke was giving the “obviously a race team lad” a very strict talking to and words to the tune of “legally signed agreement... stand up in court... it’s not a test day... novices...” etc. Didn’t make them drive any better but he tried 🤣
