I'm defo in the 'mine's a tip too' club - though I know where most of the stuff is most of the time. Wish I had painted the walls white when we moved in, too much s**t to move now! It's not all mine though, the left side is commandeered by the missus' car, because (she) "don't do windscreen scraping" - I don't argue because I like being fed. My property back in NZ was a perfect man-land - the 'house' was a self-build barn with three car garage plus workshop downstairs, and a studio flat upstairs, all on 2.7 acres high up on a range that on a clear day you could see two snow-capped volcanoes 150 miles away. If you've wondered where my profile name comes from...3 points

Paraffin works well, but you do need to expect a few leaks. I too have ITBs but my sausage filter doesn’t seem to filter out Bockwurst, should I switch to a German brand?2 points

Hello everyone and I hope this finds you all strong in body and mind. Behind the scenes myself and the rest of the Stoneleigh organizing team have been closely monitoring the current situation and are hopeful that the show will go ahead in August (29th/30th). To enable us to tailor the show for all to enjoy whilst following any and all future guidelines on social distancing and hygiene we have decided to open it out to a vote so we are able to gauge attendance levels. The poll is very simple and only requires a yes or no anonymous vote and as members we really value your feedback. The voting will close on Monday 29th June to allow the team adequate time to make the magic happen. At the same time we need volunteers to help the show run smoothly so if you are able to give a couple of hours (or more) please email me directly using the email address below. Thank you for your time and we hope to see as many of you as possible at Stoneleigh Gail Jones Shows and Events Coordinator Email: gailjones99@hotmail.co.uk Club Website: www.wscc.co.uk The club is administered by a volunteer committee and a team of regional area organisers. Contact details for all club volunteer committee can be found in the magazine and web site.1 point

Having cleared part of my garage I found this complete electric mirror system Mirror housings are in unmarked condition as they have been re-sprayed black, glass is clear and free of cracks and comes complete with a fully wired loom and switch. The cost of these mirrors alone in used condition seems to average around £25 each now and switches can rarely be found with connector and short loom. All labelled and ready to install. All you will need is a fused 3A supply. £65 + postage or collection from Northampton or possible delivery between Northampton and Loughborough1 point

Would be great to join you on this one @Andrew now that I have a trailer and can travel further afield, but I think I will leave Knockhill until next year. Definitely one I want to do though. I remember seeing touring cars there a few years ago and thought it looked like a great track. Have a good one!1 point

Unless you are implying that i do drop the car from anglesey straight to yours, and you rebuild it... in 6 weeks I have about time for changing the rear brake pads... and that is about it.1 point

What is happening in the States now is awful and sadly all this is doing is making a Trump victory more likely not less. There are 44 million black people living in the US just 13% of the population. Last year year there were just 9 black people who died at the hands of the police who were unarmed. There were allegedly more white people as one would expect with a larger % population. All deaths in these circumstances are regrettable but is it realistic to expect none given the state of the US where you have so many potentially armed? Clearly many blacks feel harrassed by the police which you can only really get if you are in their position I feel, no matter how many time the virtue signallers take a knee. The democrat big hitters fear Trump which is why they have put up Biden, who is expendable. If a big hitter went up against Trump and lost they would be finished, wait 4 years and they may well win. Biden is being made out to be an alternative, yet last night it was revealed that as a young politician he was active in supporting segregated schools and the bussing of black students which was just as divisive then as now. There are also the many examples of where he is a bit too handsy with females especially younger ones and the young lady Tara Reade who alleges he sexually assaulted her in 1993. The media will support Biden clearly which Trump will use to his advantage. So the hope of Trump being voted out is not the best one for change. Interesting if you have the time is to watch some of the Youtube videos by Brandon Tatum who is an ex police officer who is black. He cuts through some of the hyperbola that is going on and brings a clarity that is devoid from the media. They are lengthy but worth seeing things from a perspective devoid of political spin and hope to out Trump. Also worth a look is Ben Carson who again as the secretary of state for housing who is also black see things differently to others. No one should make light of the mood of the BLM movement and the support they have at the moment but truthfully this will die down when the next important thing to change your facebook page comes up as not that many stay on a bandwagon that long these days but hopefully some lasting change will come and we can all live together better, not that I have had any trouble living with my black neighbours or my staff who are black, there are good people of all race's1 point
