  1. Wasn't happy with the horn push on my Momo, especially as the horn is on the dash so was just covering the hole... For a month or so I've been looking for some form of "delete" option I liked before stumbling across a carbon fibre block off panel on fleabay for £36. It's real carbon fibre made by a US company (artisan research). I love the look, but my OCD is nagging me to get it to line up with the dashboard carbon grain now though! 😂

  4. I carry Holt's tyre weld. Never had to use it, but it's cheap, doesn't need a pump so more compact, and apparently it can be washed out of the tyre so a proper repair can still be done. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Holts-HT3YA-Tyreweld-400ml/dp/B000Y8WB8W

  5. A pair of half doors never fitted. I used to make these a while back, if there's interest I'll do another batch, I need 10 sets ideally to make it worth while. Circa £140 Outer is good quality Vinyl, inner is felt, theres a moulded plastic inner to keep the shape and stiffness. They also allow a little elbow room. I do not supply the fixings as peoples individual needs are different however stud fasteners work great, 4 or 5 max £130 for this pair posted in UK

  8. Double Bubble Dark Tinted Aero Screen, originally orange now painted blue. Tinted screen in good condition, off a wide car. The Saint Goueno scrutineering sticker must add at least a fiver to the value, its also very fast and won the Speed Series 😂 £90 posted in UK

  9. Yeah, I think I might have seen a can in the Sigma. I don’t know if it’s changed in recent years, (formulas for many things have), not a great fan of spraying gloop inside the tyres and effectively writing them off. (Though I’ve a feeling Tyre Weld might be one that some tyre places will clean off, can’t remember for sure. I do recall Matt Seabrook, years ago, telling us how nasty some of the chemicals in tyre sealers could be though!) This was a good reminder though. I’ve dug out the old Crafty Plugger kit I got for my last Westfield years ago, on @Blatman recommendation of the time. Have just ordered some fresh CO2 cartridges though, to pump the tyres back up! As mine are ten years old or so. - It’s a dry temporary fix for roadside use, that still allows a tyre place to mend the tyre, if it’s that type of puncture.

  12. This month, I have been mostly undoing the stuff a previous owner did to my old car ... Removing the solid prop shaft, refitting the reverse box and spilt prop shafts Re-wiring the alarm LED Making a center console with a USB charger and phone cubby hole Wiring the fuel pump up Stripping out the kinked suction fuel hose, new fuel pump Stripping out a fuel cutoff switch and second starter switch Moving the indicator switch from the old canter console to the dash Powder coating the chrome windcreen wipers and headlamps black

  13. Good point, hadn't thought about earplugs and wasn't a problem doing a hill climb or sprint but then they don't last very long. So I will need to take earplugs into account. Thanks for the advice

  14. i always wear ear plugs. after being in engineering for a fair few years there the fist things that i do when i get to work. so my advice as above if your wearing a helmet put some ear plugs in. and dont skimp on the quality. no point spending 400 quid on a lid to to protect your head if your going to be deaf for the sake of a few quid on a decent set of plugs

  19. Hmmm, perhaps rewording would be clearer. I will attend WSCC sprint/trackday weekend if it's on so answered Yes to 1. But I will not be competing - I will do the trackday and support running of the sprint competition.

  21. Hi all, So after parking the Westy in the garage in 2007 (and my old membership expiring) and then starting house renovation which turned into extension and then daughter is born and then 2nd extension followed by 2nd daughter and then loft conversion I am finally done (or broken!), so it's time to blow the cobwebs off the old neglected girl, strip it down and repowder coat and then rebuild it to what I always wanted first time around! Full cage, throttle bodies, widetrack some carbon maybe....... Unfortunately due to the lockdown it has come to a grinding halt again....😂 Here we go........ All the best all Glen

  22. Those F1 cars are really nice. Great work. This lives on my desk at work... It's a Chinese rip-off of the yellow Lego Caterham but it's closer in colour to mine and only cost me £23 posted so I can't complain.
