  1. Took delivery of an Ender 3 on Friday, assembled and then didn’t get a chance to try it! I had to swap the European plug for an English one, apparently they’re all getting shipped with the wrong one! The spoils of PLA were supposed to be following today, now tomorrow I’ve been informed. Anyway, thought I would give it a bash with the supplied sample plastic. After bed alignment and a sample print I attempted something off the SD supplied, a bit of a blind leap of faith - that took 6hrs to complete. Quite happy with the result, possibly a bonnet ornament 🤣 looking forward to trying to utilise it with work as well as playtime.

  3. I’ve got a ported/polished Zetec head and cams in the garage - think it came from a 2.0L though (not sure if they’re different or not)?

  5. That’s your problem, you have an FW nose/bonnet, but NOT an FW tub, it’s a traditional ZK tub and arches, so you need ZK type stone protectors. 👍

  6. I went through this last year, carbon mods used to make some that did fit the fixed arch but no longer does westfield parts. As i couldn't get any which would fit i ended up buying some for a detachable arch and trim down to fit. Fixed them with tiger seal they aren't perfect but look better than a peppered arch 😂

  8. The full-disclosure, done in the right "tone" can be a remarkably powerful sales tool, (intentionally or accidentally). However, when ever if seen it work really positively, it's been when there have been plenty of good photos, too, so that potential buyers can make their minds up with more than just the description.
