  3. Hey everyone! Not currently westy related, I am working my way through the requests as I draw these by hand! Just quick sketches really but it's something for people to do in lockdown On our facebook page you will see that I am creating free colouring in printables for kids (or adults... no judgement here!), I am trying to do one a week so there will be a kit car coming up! For now, here are the ones so far... but if you follow us on Facebook you'll see all the future ones pop up. www.facebook.com/aplanspecialist Carlie

  6. I made this last year that I keep all my dust sheets and rags in. Cost me about £25 in materials. also usefully doubles as a stool.

  7. Can't you hang your driving stuff in the garage was the latest self-isolation question from my wife? Apparently she needs more room for her clothes...... So starting with an old metal locker, an angle grinder, rivet gun and some sticky backed vinyl I can now hang my stuff in the garage. The only real expense was the repro globe. but she seemed to be happy when i told her it was only £20 It's a bit shonky but it will fool the grandkids.....

  9. Figured out how The Govt can pay for the mess we are in right now By stockpiling as much oil as we can (price fell as low as minus $37.63 a barrel - so they pay you to take it!) that way we sit this Covid thing out and pay for it by reselling the oil when things return to normal and the price goes back to silly money! Now where can I find an empty tanker...

  12. I have kit bodywork and the arches are fixed but painted black. I have hooked the tape measure over the edge of the tub inside the cockpit area. I can get better pictures tomorrow in the daylight if you want them.

  15. Thanks for the ideas guys, @Mark (smokey mow) I’m liking the oil drum, now to put the feelers out to find a nice drum( I’m sure I’ve got a litre of yellow hammerite smooth in the garage) cheers Andy

  16. I don't see the point in all this testing, you can get tested clear now, walk 100 yard get infected. It seems utterly pointless in most case, it's just been used as a political beating stick and is being implemented on a large scale just to appear to be doing something. Do it in care homes and then lock them down. Do it for NHS staff on a daily basis. Doing it for the average Joe, is waste of time and money and in fact it could make people more complacent.

  17. Yes, as to what @Steve (sdh2903) says, he’s quite difficult to get hold of but once you do it’s well worth the wait.

  18. Its now just the father Keith. He's old school, you need to get him on the phone. Which can be tricky as if he's making seats he doesn't answer the phone. Keep trying, you'll get him. Best time is between 4 and 6pm. (If he's still working at present that is)

  19. I saw the correction on the headlines page. It was actually the 2nd story from the top as I never venture into the murky business pages. They explained their mistake and apologised. More than can be said for most other media outlets.

  25. Unless things have changed since I bought my seats, it is pretty much a father and son operation, so they may well be in lockdown. Either way, there won't be stockists, I don't think, they are their own stockists.

  27. When your local hospital has capacity to ensure you have a fully resourced intensive care bed available is the logical answer. The reason I say this you have no idea how your body will react to the infection.

  28. @A-Plan Insurance THATCHAM Yeah, that AF renewal includes legal plus the agreed value, £138 + £15 = £153. Hey, you've won with our camper insurance, so everyone's getting a piece of the pie!

  31. The pre rebuild console; 3M multilayer carbon wrap, heater controls and 12 Volt point for chargers etc. As part of the rebuild, the analogue dials have gone, so I’ve moved the heater controls up to the dash panel, and the centre console now has all the ecu controls for traction etc. The 3M Carbon wrap has gone, and I’ve replaced it with genuine carbon, engraved with the control functions, on the centre console. (I got the same guy that did the build plates etc to do it.). Not fitted back to the car yet, but you get the idea...
