Last Thursday we launched the Howsafe PPE Bank – the idea was to ask our customers, suppliers and the local community to donate their unwanted personal protection equipment so that it can be recirculated into local care homes and volunteers that really need it during the Covid-19 crisis. Howsafe have made a starting donation of PPE and whilst early days, we have already had some donations from customers. Our first delivery will be delivered today to Philia Lodge Rest Home in Peterborough where there have very sadly been a reported number of deaths due to the virus. The delivery consists of gloves, eyewear and disposable masks. The rest home made national news yesterday with six deaths - the staff I have spoken with their are devastated and our thoughts go out to the care team , the residents and families that have lost loved ones. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-cambridgeshire-52291790/peterborough-care-home-boss-moves-in-as-third-of-residents-die Any help you can be to help us spread the news would be much appreciated - any donations of PPE would be hugely appreciated and our promises is, that your PPE will be going out to the care homes and volunteers that are truly in need. Blog post here... https://www.howsafe.co.uk/blog/post/howsafe-ppe-bank For more information and frequent updates please follow our facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/HowsafeLtd/ So if you have anything no matter how big or small it would be appreciated - so please have a look in the garage, workshop or have a chat with your employer to see if there is anything you can help with - thank you 👍 There's more information as to what is needed in both of the attached links (easier to find initially on the blog link). Thanks in advance9 points

Westfield mega s2000 Honda vtech Powered . I bought this car from toybox cars 6 months ago with only 190 miles on the clock since built . Was built by a retired ex engineer who simply built it but then never used it . It now shows 600 miles . Simply stunning car which wants for nothing . Carbon front fenders , rear arch protectors, rear valance , dash and mirror caps . New sabelt 4 point harnesses . Big calliper upgrade kit . Full led lights front and rear . Brand new custom made half hood with no visible fixings . First one made I believe . Brand new custom made shower cap too . New trickle charger . Momo removable steering wheel . Everything on this car was brand new except engine . Doors also . No recon parts etc . 2 folders full of paperwork and a full photo album of build . I put a new genuine Honda rocker cover on and vtech valve simply as the ones on were a bit tatty and my ocd kicked in ! mot till Oct 2020 genuine reason for sale .. Andy on 07776181076 £22,0001 point

Mine is due at the end of the month with AF, but the renewal notice hadn't turned up a couple of weeks ago, so I rang A-Plan Thatcham for a quote anyway. That came out at £169 agreed value (subject to photos), garaged, 3K mileage, legal etc. The AF envelope turned up the other day and its £153 agreed value. I'll give A-Plan another call but won't hold my breath.1 point

Hi @6carjon I'm still trying to get a few more added in and I'll then resend out the invite. We won't miss you out! Just call me in Skype from your laptop if you wish to test. I'm working at home all day (every day!).1 point

Tony, the Dash2 looks for a 0-5v input and you can scale the ouput (display) against the input v. the output v from the lambda controller is linear so it's easy enough to do. Spartan one looks good, doesn't seem to have a lot of the features of the Innovate but if all you need is a 0-5v output then ideal. If you want the Innovate help yourself. I've found the same at £160 elsewhere. According to Innovate you can shorten the lead if needed. Steve.1 point

LOL - yes, it was an ultra-light race-spec nosecone, with no resin or clearcoat, so the finish was a bit uneven and completely dull. Also, the weave wasn't particularly even, so it wasn't the prettiest of carbon components. I've had it flatted, primed and painted in Chrome Yellow, with just a small section of carbon weave left visible around the grille aperture I haven't even seen it yet, so I don't know whether I'll like it1 point

Highly unlikely given the weather and the fact there are plenty of places offering shelter more than adequate for the short time they’d be there. https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/edinburgh/cramondisland/index.html At the best of times folk need to be responsible for their own actions, not rely on others to rescue them from their own stupidity. These aren’t the best of times. Then again, if they were stupid enough to ignore all the posted warnings about getting stranded as well as the information on how to get tide times, they were probably too stupid to shelter themselves anyway. I’d have left them myself, but then I’m a miserable b******d with little patience for f******s. If I screw up, I expect to pay the price for it.1 point

The only thing I am now certain of is that the press will twist and manipulate a story to make a headline. Do not believe anything now the press say. I suspect when the truth is drilled into this is a completely different story. As i read the article and read between the lies I quickly came to the conclusion it was not as appears.1 point
