  3. Hi guys, My very Trusty Tranny, converted by my good self is now for sale. 55 plate with 125k, has never let me down, excellent tow vehicle and camper. I've covered 50k miles in 10 years, mostly to Speed Series events along with a few weekend breaks and the odd week away. 2.4 Turbo, RWD, doesn't get stuck anywhere! Converted to a high standard by me, she was professionally resprayed (I'm a bodyshop manager) when I took ownership in Ford Sea Grey. Body work is mostly very good for age with the odd blister visible but still very presentable. Colour coded bumpers, 16' alloy wheels, 4 new tyres 2019, tasteful discrete graphics, fiamma bike rack and awning and the all important tow bar already fitted. She also boasts 2 Heike roof lights with fly screens and black out blinds, and windows have been added to both sides.. Properly Certified by the DVLA as a Motorcaravan meaning she has the proper facilities inside too. Fixed double bed, 3 way fridge, Smev sink and gas hob, hot water heater and Propex blown air heating. Both front seats swivel on approved bases and the front seats were re-upholstered when the conversion was done. There is a bathroom area which has never been fully completed but an easy job to line out as you please. Loads of storage is available under the bed from both inside and via the rear doors. There is a bulkhead inside the back doors to maintain privacy/heat when the doors are opened. A very handy table can be assembled quicker than you can say hold my beer, ideal for holding your...beer. Brand new leisure battery and vehicle battery last year, 240v hookup, all electrics controlled via the PMS panel. Recent new windscreen and alternator. Internal and external silver screens included, many more pics including loads of build pics available on request. Very clean for year, ready to tow your pride and joy or weekends away. Any interested parties probably best to drop me an email or call rgkerr21@gmail.com 078oo 898o22 Vehicle is based in Co. Durham, plate not included. £9500 ono

  4. I've been keeping an eye on the forecast and it looks like a very bleak weekend! Oh well, there will be plenty more. At least it gives me time to do more spanner checks 😁

  5. Even better is when there’s no cap at all. Mine has it built in to the flap. I love the parking camera and sensors. Apart from making it easy to align the trailer hitch, it also means I can get right up to the garage door and block in the Westy so it can’t get nicked 😁

  7. Yes, that’s a good point. Central locking (or actually any lock) is also pointless given you can unbolt the doors from the outside...

  8. I've been with Aplan for 6 years and payed the same every year, infact, if anyone can beat it by £100 they'd owe me money.

  10. Yes, but doesn't that mean the button is also built by Land Rover?

  11. If you're looking for info on the RX8 engine itself, and want some entertainment, the Car Throttle guys on YouTube did a series on buying and living with an RX8. This ended up being quite poorly and they did some videos with Rotary Revs, going through the rebuild process. This talks about what commonly goes wrong, how to avoid, typical rebuild costs, and tuning options. There's some gooning about there, but also a lot of good info on the pros and cons of that engine. It's an option of extremes compared to a 'safe' Zetec. When it's good, it's amazing, when it's broke, it's really broke, and it will break.

  20. CANCELLED DUE TO STORM DENNIS The weather is going to be on the wet side so I am afraid that this event will not go ahead. I am really sorry Rob, I am sure the others were looking forward to meeting your new car as much as we were. As soon as I can I will get this back on the calendar. Thank you to everyone who replied and we hope hope to see you all very soon.

  21. Bad news I am afraid, this project will no longer be going ahead because both directors are ill and have been advised to step back from it.
