  2. Hi guys Some of you may or may not remember me from a few years back. Had a yellow westie for a few years and just bought my 3rd one! Believe the car is well known on the forum! Looking forward to seeing you all again soon at a few meets. This Busa will be a bit of a project for me, wanting to either supercharge or turbo it and push for around 300-330hp and use it as a fast road/track car. Anyone know any more info about the car? I know it competed in sprint series for a bit >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqTQT2Qnk64 Any more info about it? Believe its a standard bus engine with no modifications apart from usual manifold etc. Thanks, Dan

  4. Patrick, based on my experience with my old car (factory built, early 2008 aerosport) a 9" wheel would only fit if the car had extra wide wheel arches. I used 8" latterly on the back, and they only just fitted between the suspension on the inside of the rim and the plane of the outer arch on the outside.

  7. Thank you all for the interest so far. I'll contact our supplier and discuss what offsets would be available. In relation to tyres for wider width rims. I can always speak with our suppliers. Yesterday I was able to offer more competitive pricing on our standard range up. If tyre sizes are available I would keep the prices as keen as possible.

  8. @CosKev I scaled the 13” wheel & tyre to the same outer diameter of his original tyres. Feel free to get your crayons out ☺️ I agree the angle of the back wheel doesn’t look right. I’ve done my best with what was provided etc

  16. Here's my guilty pleasure, more horse power. edit too add the people who clicked the sad/angry emoji maybe a little research before you react, the dogs are Bloodhounds, bloodhounds DO NOT hunt/track live animals but follow the "cleanboot" i.e. We chase and track human runners, genuine hunt sabatours are fully aware of this and never sab a bloodhound pack, in fact they actively support and encourage bloodhound packs. google is your friend, you may find this link educational https://www.save-me.org.uk/our-work/fox/377-hunting-the-clean-boot

  20. Okkkkk..... The snake's gorgeous, the scorpions scary, but cool, the frogs weirdly cute and the caterpillar may well see me wake up screaming from some horrible nightmare tonight! Plus I'll be looking very warily at bunches of carrots for some time to come.

  25. Just a thought but do you have any contacts for supplying suitable tyres for the wider rims? Tyre choices seem to be causing issues with some wider rims these days.

  33. Exactly this scum needs stopping it's not nice and it could be a member's car they use for the adverts etc. I've called e-bay and spent a long time trying to explain the repeated users appearing with great feedback, history etc and many cars the same for sale with the same tactic used with a picture with different e-mails in each time. They couldn't / wouldn't explain how they are so easily able to keep setting up all the same adverts with new accounts etc. I've got a case number so will use this to report further occurences.

  36. Only these 2 at the moment(the bottom one is with 15 “ wheels and small number plate needed to let bonnet stand unaided ) how people open them with a full size plate I don’t know ,I’ve taken the number plate off for now incase I need to open the bonnet whilst out and about. The wheel and tyre combo I bought has slightly smaller tyres on the front ,185,60,13 ,so when they’re replaced I can sort the bonnet issue out by fitting a 205,60,13 (matching the rear ) and a minor suspension tweak .

  40. Apart from spinning my Wez on roundabouts I am a traveller, as opposed to a camper. I spent 3 months travelling Europe on my own trying to get my head straight in 2018. I'm off again soon, Holland and France for a shorter period this time, a month maybe. Also been folk singing since I was 12, play the bodhran badly, also a bit of ole time music hall and war songs, tried rock but left it too late! Photo, me on the pyrenees on the anniversary of Brian's death. Sensation seeker according to a shrink!

  41. Two for me. Apart from finally driving the Westy (almost 800 winter miles since I got it back on the road mid-September), I am trying to learn how to play this..... And I still play 8 ball pool once a week in a league populated, it seems, by superleague, county and a couple of England players, most of them 30+ years younger than me..... Guess there's no substitute for experience and a misspent youth 😂

  42. Aside from tinkering with the Westfield and building campers, my wee hobby keeps me in pocket money - I build and sell electric 2,3 and 4-string cigar-box guitars, in hardwood rather than repurposing cigar boxes. 'Sawdust is man glitter'!
