  1. Just watched a short video of RH picking up his new Morgan from the factory. I was quite impressed by the performance figures he quoted, it also sounds quite nice. Then I googled the price......The Plus Six range starts at £78,000 (STARTS AT) Jesus Wept.....

  2. Oh yes we know that all too well! The route was really just an idea to see what others thought. We’ve done Ullapool to Durness and then onto Tongue before so have a good idea of what there 👍

  4. I forgot to say. Dr Alice Roberts says the population will decline steadily from the 25billion max although in Africa the population will rise. There are countries that the population has already started to decrease, Japan and Germany for starters. Shame I wont be around in 2050 to find out.

  5. Think they're quite well known on here already, but can never have too many recommendations!

  6. We're stopping over at Tyndrum, Dornoch, Thurso and Kinross (in that order). If anyone decides they want to meet up later and even stop over for any of the nights, then they are welcome to - obviously you'd need to sort out accommodation as we're all booked up now. Nineteen of us hardy Geordie aeroscreen types** booked up including 13 'sevens' that I know of and 7 of those are Westies. Should be "interesting" 😁 ** if you don't count the odd wuss who will be driving their BMW "M"'s - but we don't care all are welcome...

  7. same as most, steering lock on and take wheel with. If i cant, I d-lock (push bike) the steering wheel to roll bar. unfortunately If someone really wants it they will take it, but as something to get rid of, or part out, a westfield has got to be a headache and you stick out like a sore thumb driving it.....they are better off pinching an Audi S3 golf r etc.

  9. This people are just a*****s... sadly the forum police will censure the word... but they are and there is not any other polite word to describe them. Feeling that you are due for a compensation... well... you are an idiot (particularly if you have a remap in the car) but whatever. Now... wishing the bankrupt of a company that keeps paying directly or indirectly the salary of about 3.5 milion families around the world... including suppliers and engineering providers, is to have the same thinking capacity of a stone And we could do with less stones in our society... just saying.

  10. probably the only visionary who could actually pull it off and the only thing we can look forward to in any future! I keep telling my two boys who are at school choose Computer Science, Maths, Physics, biology closely followed by business studies and you might just survive

  11. I typed a great missive.....but in a nutshell, we are screwed. Brought it upon ourselves. Just maybe St Elon the Improbable will manage to make his dream of a human presence on Mars a reality and we can mess up another planet before we finally depart.

  12. You could well be right. Here are my simple views. Is climate changing? Yes. Is “mankind” making it worse? Yes. Can the actions of the “entire world” be changed? Good luck with that. Can the world adjust to climate change? I think so. Is the climate change “groupthink - lobby” out of control? I think so.

  13. If I’m just parking up for a bite to eat I have a thick wire hoop thing with a built in lock. Use that to secure helmet & steering wheel to the cage. Saves carrying them!
