I started building a Toylander Scout for my son's 4th birthday, didn't get it finished in time so it's still in the back of the garage. He'll be 26 soon, must get on with it.3 points

Oh wow this thread has grown legs overnight. Firstly hello to anyone I haven't said hello to yet. So I have attached the pictures that show essentially what I am dealing with The rear upright has been source already thanks to Ashley Ponder along with right rear wishbones. Everyone has been such great help so far and very funny starting the journey by phoning someone with my name Paul Aspden. The one thing I can't identify yet is the rear damper. Spax can supply a repair kit for the front but this rear doesn't have any branding on it, perhaps the original owner can help.1 point

Cheers. Yes, I love my Parker. I actually have another at home, a Fly Concert, which is just piezo pickups and no mags which is amazing. I keep my eyes open for another but they are getting expensive for rough examples. I only paid £850 for each of mine and they were both near mint. As you say they were real 'marmite' guitars but everyone who plays mine, loves it, but often can't get over the looks. I love the look!1 point

Apart from spinning my Wez on roundabouts I am a traveller, as opposed to a camper. I spent 3 months travelling Europe on my own trying to get my head straight in 2018. I'm off again soon, Holland and France for a shorter period this time, a month maybe. Also been folk singing since I was 12, play the bodhran badly, also a bit of ole time music hall and war songs, tried rock but left it too late! Photo, me on the pyrenees on the anniversary of Brian's death. Sensation seeker according to a shrink!1 point
