2019 nearly wrapped up. The year I used my late husbands car to carve out a new life following his tragic death. Thanks to everyone in this club this year has been one to remember with a huge smile. From the brilliant car show at Stoneleigh in May to the most spectacular and memorable blat round the Alps. Special thanks to @Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) and @Gary Taylor - Scotland AOfor letting me tag along. Thanks to the guys at HBB group for the beers and chat and a very special tanks to @Simon Marks - North Oxfordshire AO and the guys at the North Oxfordshires group which I adopted. I found lots of buddies here, such a great club I am proud to be a part of. A few memories below... See you at Stoneleigh!9 points

Those rascals at BOM have sneaked a last minute Christmas present under the collective tree, there's another episode of project Binky out tonight, (last night for Patrons). Its a slightly bittersweet one too, after all these years, wrapping up the episode by seeing the empty shed, after it's been stripped bare and sent to paint. I guess there's still lots to do when it returns, but the epic project is definitely on the last sprint to the finish line, now.1 point

Hi Nick, good decision, they really come alive on track. Personally I'm not a huge fan of "Airfield days" so I'd be looking at somewhere with plenty of run off should it go awry, Blyton Park and Bedford are ideal to pop your cherry. Some (most?) organisers offer tuition - I think a full day is probably overkill, they come in 20 min sessions usually, so I'd probably do 20 mins early in the morning and 20 mins in the afternoon once you know the track. If you do a day with some other club members I'm sure they'd happily take you out to show you which way the track goes and possibly come out as a passenger to give you some tips. Have fun!1 point
