  1. To All WSCC Members, Firstly, I would like to personally thank every individual that I have spoke with and had to pleasure to meet during the past 12 months. This year has been amazing and year or growth and personal developments. Ups, downs, smiles, laughter and lots of memories made with a few swear words in between.. The journey has been very positive and I'm extremely appreciative for the help and support which has been shown to me. Big thank you to the clubs who welcomed me on my occasional tours. Hopefully I can get out and about a bit more next year. Any excuse to test drive the demo Thank you to each and every customer who has ordered and supported the factory. Greatly appreciated. We as a department are striving for continuous improvement and I hope it is noticeable. I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy Christmas and fantastic new years. Thank you Best Regards Patrick

  5. Yes that charger looks good. It's 1A for a 5-10Ah 6V battery (you have 5Ah 6V), so should take approx 5 hours to charge.

  6. The other job for this month was trial assembly if the engine and transaxle in the chassis. Some time later in the cars history it was fitted with a Honda S800 engine so before the chassis goes to paint I wanted to be sure that the engine mounts were still in the right place for the imp engine. For now I'm just using a scrap gearbox and an old engine till something more suitable is built. In the advertising literature for the car it was stated that the engine and box could be fitted as a single unit to ease assembly. Encouraged but this news I set about trying to squeeze everything into the small engine bay but there was just no way it would fit from any angle. Disassembled again the transaxle was slotted in first and the engine dropped in and bolted into place. All the ancillaries and manifolds were then fixed into place to check for clearances.

  10. You can get car battery chargers that'll do 6v batteries (automatically detect type). For example this set to motorcycle mode (low current charging): https://www.aldi.co.uk/car-battery-charger-2019/p/099132311147100 Fairly sure my local Aldi has stock of those.

  11. Just had a proper look at the calipers and it appears that the pad is central to the piston. So happy days all round. Also there will be some brand new Hi Spec DP197m pads appearing in the parts section shortly if anyone is interested. I've got DS2500 going on instead.
