  2. Jo Swinson to be put in Bagpuss’ shop window with all the other lost and broken things nobody wants any more The Liberal Democrats have announced they will put Jo Swinson in Bagpuss’ shop window along with all the other lost and broken things nobody wants any more. Party succession plans are for the party leader to be left outside Parliament with all her stuffing hanging out, where a little girl will find her and put in her basket because maybe someone will want her again one day. “I don’t know how the lady came to be so lost, but I hope that Bagpuss can sing his magical song and make her right again,” Emily, the shop proprietor, told us. “But last year Bagpuss was asked to fix Brexit, but not even a machine powered by chocolate biscuits could to that and it’s currently sitting around the back by the bins, so this might be beyond even him,” she added. A spokesman for the Liberal Democrats said that a vote for a new party leader would take place as soon as possible. “Ideally the next party leader will be drawn from a gang of helpful mice who want to fix things, but realistically we’re looking at an articulated know-it-all woodpecker or a singing stuffed toad with a banjo,” they said.

  4. At least the stuffing won't be falling out of a hole in her bottom. There's no room there, she is so far up herself....

  7. I was flying in this beautiful old Warbird this weekend having spent an amazing two days at Goodwood Revival. I'm in the back in the first pic, second pic is the closing display running in at Sunset at Revival on Saturday.

  8. For years I've been with Adrian Flux for the insurance on my Megabusa, I've had fully comp, 7500 miles and an agreed value option. This year it would of cost £480! I'm 53 with a clean licence not living in a high risk area. They also are now undervaluing the car against the market value... I've seen adverts recently for 3k more than they were offering for cover... That's no good to me if it were written off or nicked... So had a shop round... A-Plan - same deal and with the value I'd asked for came in at £160... what the devil Mr. Flux....?! When I told fluxy boy they upped the value to what I asked for... No cheaper but come on... I had to pay to get out of the policy then pay the new premium but the still left me quids in... Worth a look if your thinking, apparently Aplan is run by a westy owner? So knows the cars well. Impressed

  10. Killed an hour or two with a rather cold drive to The Clock Warehouse in Shardlow (near Derby) this morning for the breakfast meet. There was a fairly decent turnout of some interesting classics and a nice breakfast in the pub. Highlights were a mint Escort RS Turbo, tastefully modified Mini and a MGB GT with a turbocharged MX5 lump.

  17. Quick hello too everyone, Jon wrong side of 50, just paid my dues and joined the WSCC community. I am based near Skegness, looking at the area maps north east Lincolnshire looks like a bit of a black hole for members, any members close by? Heres my car the “tango flash” wasn’t driver error honestly 😏

  18. To introduce myself over the years I’ve dabbled in motorsport, bit of circuit racing, spent far too many misspent years on the ovals, built a locost in 2000 which I owned for 17 years, started with a pinto, 893 blade, standard busa then supercharged sold in 2017 when I acquired tango. I ran the last 3 years in the Javelin sprint but the shake up doesn't make it kit friendly anymore so thought I would come to play with you guys. Anyhow it says you like photos, here’s one from 2018, never ever touched a cone on a sprint, honest 😏 many more pics if you want em.
