  1. @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary and I will meet you at McD's in the morning near to GBS, before the sausage fest, commences! Please dry the roads up, it's been too wet today.

  2. You all missed the Panda limousine - just ask Mark 🙂 @Wilfman It may have been a small amount of alcohol which helped or just the general high spirits of the evening but he found it rather amusing....

  3. No, they certainly don't. I use Listing practices Fraudulent listing activities You suspect that a listing is fraudulent For each of the 3 questions that they give you. Although I do sometimes wonder if you might get a better response using the cheating eBay out of fees by contacting outside eBay one, so have used that also. Trouble is they rarely get back you, just take it down.

  9. Wasn't sure where this should go... Stuff? Yeah I guess so. Nonsense? Not a bit of it! Anyway, perhaps I'm a day late with this as Mental Health Awareness week was last week, but here goes I've recently (almost) finished building my car, and all along the way this has had me dancing along a psychological tightrope. Due to various factors I have a tendency to strive for perfection, and this can get me into a lot of self-inflicted trouble (and has done in the past!). In a recent post I decided to 'come out' and share a bit of my story, in the hope that it would help others to be more open about any sort of mental struggles they have had, or are currently dealing with: https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/130867-the-lobster-88-se-rebuild/page/41/?tab=comments#comment-1422129 This can be anything from suicidal thoughts, right through to relatively-harmless-but-totally-draining overthinking (something I still do too much - mentally composing email replies at 3am while I'm lying awake, or practicing phone calls in advance!). If this describes you then you're not alone - even within this club - and I have always found the support that comes from all angles when I 'break cover' to be overwhelming, completely the opposite to my original fear of being seen as 'crazy', or being ridiculed, or even excluded. In fact it kinda makes you feel like you're in some sort of exclusive club when people pop up (both 'publicly' and privately) offering similar stories or support and understanding. It's extremely heartwarming. So, I guess the over-riding message is that it is perfectly normal to feel like cr@p sometimes, and that it's absolutely OK when that happens. There is support available all around if you allow it to come into your life. I will personally offer myself as one of these support mechanisms if I'm able to at the time, I'm only a PM away Feel free to share any stories here, you won't be judged and as I said, we'll be part of a (relatively) exclusive club, haha. And don't forget that whatever happens, there's always a fun and engaging toy with a shouty engine sat in / on your garage / shed / drive to allow you to clear your head at the end of a bad day Take care everyone, x

  10. I felt like royalty..... sat in the back (due to lack of front passenger seat) with Jon up front driving!!!! The funniest bit was that I clambered in through the passenger door and though to the back..... then as we approached home Jon said I could actually have used the rear door..... who knew that a Fiat Panda limousine had 4 doors???!!!

  13. This is how "using a drop-ship software that copies web pages for you to edit & saves in a database with all your other items. One click & before you finish boiling the kettle they are all listed." The facebook Scam group I am in have been reporting this account for more than 24hrs now but ebay is it's usual crap self at not doing anything about it. eBay really is **** these days. Be very very careful buying anything. It helps if you guys all report any of the adverts when you see them. They are really obvious as the 2nd picture shows a link to an email address to contact them on

  27. The parts shop doesn’t list the whole range of parts available, though. ALWAYS, ALWAYS ring or email, if you don’t find what you’re after! Paddy and Jason have been steadily getting more of the range on there, but it’s a huge task, as there are thousands of parts/combinations available. @Westfield Parts Dept

  31. I think that really answers your question Don, why would anyone vote to make the country Bust in the very near future. Contrary to some political comentary the UK is actually doing pretty well financially, certainly seem to be better than a lot of the rest of the EU, which is looking like it's heading for a real problem. And have you seem how much they have just voted to spend on climate change, very scary.

  34. about six month ago I was reading about valve retainers cracking, being handy with the spanners and dieing to do something on her I pulled the rocker cover and got stuck in. Oh Me My 6 out of 16 had signs of cracking one was almost right through. boy that saved the day. I bought a tool off the net and you pull the spark plug put in a fitting to allow you to fill with compressed air keeping the valve up. did the valve steam seals while i was in too and a tart up of the rover cover.
