Aint that the truth! What depresses me most is the loss of habitat caused by hacking down the forests will kill off for ever, species on the brink, before it has an effect on climate change. In my simple opinion.. there are far too many humans on this planet, creating the demand for more and more space to live and feed us..2 points

For me, the simplest indicator that we have it wrong, is that in order to do the basics today we are having to spend our children's future wages, creating the poverty of tomorrow, storing up the problems of tomorrow while at the same time spending the money they will need to solve those problems, it is almost criminally negligent and extremely selfish. I view it as a machine, with flows of money, if governments continue to borrow trillions while individuals walk away with billions there is only one future - broken and bankrupt nations! The basic design of the machine is pretty good, we need to open a valve a bit here and close a valve slightly there. The rich can still get quite rich without impoverishing nations for the future. So who to vote for? More of the same is simply not an option, the most prosperous nations have rapidly increasing poverty and food bank use (yes - Germany included, much greater food bank use than the UK, France too!) Borrow another Trillion or so and have a tinker with something that has failed us every time we have tried it - dangerous, really dangerous! This election is offering nothing to those that want to see both fairness and prosperity. I am abstaining, our children can make the choice, they will have to live with the consequences.2 points

Just my opinion but German sausages taste better than birthday cake 😀 I am biased because I want you to see the GBS factory. Also, this means you will be even older than you were before and you still only look my age, tut. Have a great weekend🍻1 point

Perhaps the population self regulating effect has kicked in just a century or two too late..1 point

What's interesting is the drop in average sperm count, apparently due in some part to all the pesticides etc we are 'having' to use to keep up with food demand. Hopefully it will turn out to be enough to reverse population growth!1 point

It's just another headline grabber unfortunately. But the basic concept of planting more trees and stopping getting rid of existing trees is certainly a good one. However what worries me with all of these things is that the real problem doesn't stem in the UK. It's the Far East, Africa, south America, China & India etc where the problems are. Issues such as the cutting down of trees in Borneo and replacing them with Plam Oil trees are causing far bigger problems. It would be far more effective to stop that happening, and probably much more cost effective.1 point

Greetings from Poland ! (sunny ) Another great tackday in Westfield , even with success - Ist place in class (2 litre NA engines from 90 years production, FWD + RWD , sport prepared) . It is more than I was hoping for in this Year. Great car, so far very reliable (although needs some nuts and bolts tightening beetween trackdays ) . Great cart, but more I drive it , the more I can see it needs some really good suspensionn adjustment , personally I have not much experience in this area. Hope to find some guidelines in this subject ,here in WSCC Forum. Drive and track : https://youtu.be/1dD6CDPDdFg Trcak from above: https://youtu.be/uGC3FFUEXWk Oh, and some lawn sightseeing (training part ) https://youtu.be/DBcrPuZGPM81 point
