It’s not the water but what’s in it which is the challenge.. it must of been 18 years ago in my ex taxi 300k, cavalier 1.7td/ rally car, there was a bursed water main at the end of the road near work. I hit it flat in 3rd , no respect for car.... it looked about 6” deep. But the weight of the water collapsed the road and suddenly I had water coming over the bonnet. A bit of a surprise and a down shift to 2nd needed, It took a while for the mouldy smell to go from the carpets and find more clips to reposition the bumper.
