He is right though. I bought a pair of pro techs direct from pro tech as a 'matched' pair. They were no where near matched when they went on the dyno at procomp. On a lightweight car it really is noticeable and they felt crap. Felt like a complete new pair once matt had sorted them out. Protech do not dyno their shocks at their factory. So if your buying them in from protech they wont be valved or dyno matched to suit our cars. If buying protechs get them from matt at procomp, he orders specific valving and dynos them before shipping. I've gone for spax from @DamperMan this time looking forward to trying them in anger. Tony's customer service is second to none too.

Tuesday we toured the South West of the island lunch at the kipper smokers well travelled Westfield - unfortunately didn’t get to meet the owner. Parked up at the Calf of Man Southern 100 1st Practice Wednesday got off to a good start Fireman’s Breakfast Parked up a the Creg Followed by lots of return runs to Ramsey (Kate’s Cottage at the top of the hill) and A final beer

Day 1 completed with no breakdowns or flat tyres 😀 The hill coming out of Settle is a 1 in 20 gradient and took some climbing! We’ve seen lots of sheep 2 deer and low flying RAF planes dog fight training. We are staying the night in Skipton early night I think 😎

A very early start from The South Coast up the M5 & M6 to Heysham for the 2:15pm ferry. Arrived, unpacked then headed to the Mountain Road and The Crag for dinner. Weather looking good for the next couple of days.

At point of selecting damper to suit Westfield models our design and manufacturing team discussed the exact requirements and needs with suppliers in great length. The result is the dampers we proudly offer.

So you strip them down,change the oil and alter the valving,then dyno them so they are in matched pairs? If not and they are coming direct from Protech they aren't set up for lightweight cars,and not matched in pairs.

Weather perfect so TT course, railway to Snaefell, the tour of the North part of the Island with a final run over the mountain and back to Laxey for a BBQ.

@Ruttager agreed useful to have ...I have been covered by 'Rescue My Car' which has worked really well and ive used them 3 times so far this year 9 months. Cost £42 1- Flat battery and not charging - Oxford to Bristol 2-Fuel pump not working/Car not starting - Castle Coombe to Bristol 3-Engine cut out on M% heading to stoneligh - Tewkesbury to Bristol What most of these state is that you cannpt do a repeat call for the same fault unless it has been fixed by a garage...although mine was happy that I'd bought the new parts etc. Also WESTFIELD does not come up on their system so I used C.....m!
