I was in the process of looking for a replacement to the Westfield logo that was on the back of Buttercup. At the same time, @IanK (Bagpuss) was producing silhouettes of members cars so my search was about to come to fruition. I contacted Ian and he was happy to help and so various designs went between us so that I achieved the look I was looking for. I would like to thank Ian for all the help and time he gave for this little project to happen. Here is a picture of the logo on Buttercup and I hope you like it as much as I do. You will notice the Buttercup in the grill. It was a brilliant idea by Ian but thanks also go to @Gary Taylor - Scotland AO for the suggestion to have the flowers yellow.9 points

Hoping to meet up with Ali & Gail and Jude around Milton Keynes/newport pagnall. We could all then meet up at Thurrock services just before the Dartford crossing. That will be your last chance for fuel before Maidstone services at j8 of the M20.4 points

So after the taster of Westfield club spirit at Stoneleigh are we ready for The Silverstone Classic? Tickets are still available but the early bird discount has lapsed. Trust me, the show is unreal and for the first time the Factory will be there too.2 points

Well, after many years of hiring similar things for odd days, and before I get too old to get in one I have taken the plunge and purchased a Westfield. Hopefully a nice entry level 1998 wide with 2.0 pinto. I think I have broken all my normal rules and purchased this sold unseen but from what looks like a nice garage in Hexham so hopefully I have done the right thing!. Weather permitting should pick it up on thursday and then just got to drive the 350miles back home afterwards. Really excited and a little anxious 😀1 point

The real issue here is the "green eye monster" syndrome Get out and support the events and not just moan and say the rules need changing because you decided not to go and hence not got any points! The results of the two guy's at Angelsey will probably not be too significant when all the points are added up at the end of the season! During my time on the SSOT these special conditions rules were debated and amended long and hard! On balance over time they work pretty well! Also Mark Stanton's earlier post is also very relevant in this instance! Glutey1 point
