Thinking of selling my 1992 SE wide body, but don't really know what to ask, i bought the car after it had been stood for a good few years, now full MOT. cross flow engine with 4 speed type e gearbox. Lightened and balanced bottom end inc clutch and flywheel, competition clutch, high performance oil pump, Kent camshaft, over bored to 1680. Stage 3 head with Paul Ivey valves, competition valve springs, cateram 7 inlet manifolds, twin delorto's. Large capacity oil sump. what should I ask for it ?2 points

Finished the winter jobs - New bike fuel pump, led rear lights and changed all the rear loom connectors to Sureseals. The old lights and connectors were constantly giving problems, blown bulbs and water corroding the connector pins. A pair of rear led lights cost the pauper £7.45. Here she is all nice and clean.2 points

Just to verify midlife crisis is fantastic and a warm welcome from rainy, sleety Scotland. Lovely looking car. Saturday weather looking reasonable. Enjoy your new toy.1 point

Bag is from Lomo : https://www.lomo.co.uk/acatalog/Dry-Dag-Holdalls.html They do a variety of shapes and sizes. Recommended on here by several WSCC members. Can vouch for the bags being waterproof Following a tip from another FW owner I put a piece of the the Plastic/foam mesh "stuff" on the body under the bag to to protect it. You can see the edge in the photos.1 point

You'll have two bodies sat in front of it anyway from the sound of it, so the airflow will be pretty disrupted anyway!1 point

A vid from me. Last session of the day. I led the four cars round for a lap or so .. then twigged they were all behind me and the Gopro was facing forward. So let them past and gave chase. @DanDud pulled off for a picnic, Steve H cleared off, so I chased @Michael Whitworth for a bit.. got past and tried to pull away when there was an almighty bang down in the footwell accompanied by something rattling off the exhaust and flying past my head! It was the alternator bolt exiting stage left.. again! You can just make out the nut flying through the air as I turn through Lodge corner.1 point

Due to snow, wind and rain, working on camper build no.2 took a hiatus over the winter. So to keep my hand in with woodworking, I’ve taken to building 2,3 and 4-string cigar box guitars - one for myself and others to sell for a bit of pocket-money. Rather than going the traditional route of repurposing cigar boxes, I build my own boxes from hardwoods. So if you play the guitar and one of these tickles your fancy, check out https://reverb.com/item/20805961-bigskycbg-cigar-box-guitar "Sawdust is man glitter"1 point

That's about the most exciting news I've heard in Devon in months , often wondered if there were any other Westies around here apart from David Alexander….. and just 2 weeks after I sold my V8 Westy……still, I'm in the club (so to speak) and now looking at another Westy project at some point….see you at Castle Combe on the 23rd, well done Dave, I look forward to meeting you there…..or seeing you at Stoneleigh. Best wishes Gareth1 point

Would love to, as it would have been to first trip with the car actually functioning. I'm getting married on the Sat however, and the wife-to-be has already made it clear that b*******ing off to a kit car show the day after would be 'frowned upon'!1 point
