  1. Officially ready for the season! Was up at track developments today near castle combe. Geo and corner weights done. 560kg with 1/3 of tank. The car was a bit darty when pushing on. Turns out it was quite toe'd out. Corrected to a bit of toe in and weights sorted out. Cars more settled now. Dave really knows his stuff I would definitely recommend.

  2. If it helps I had M16 calipers on cortina uprights and hubs and didn't have any problem, it was a fairly common set-up so I would expect it to be fine.

  3. @Steve (sdh2903) thank you for the kind words. One of my main roles is to support this community. Swapping the bracket, not a problem. We all make mistakes, I certainly do lol Happy to help on any inquiry, whether its an order or advise.

  11. Yeah good luck with that! I must say I've been critical of the parts dept in the past, but just lately dealing with Patrick @Westfield Parts Dept has been an absolute pleasure. Even sorting me out a replacement exhaust bracket when it was me who'd made a blunder.

  18. Just had this from my mums insurance company ( I look after it for her, so emails come to me). Note the 4 week thing. Just incase !! Whilst uncertainty remains on whether the UK leaves the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement (a 'no-deal Brexit') on 29th March, if they do, UK motor insurance customers driving in the European Economic Area, Andorra, Serbia, and Switzerland will need physical proof of motor insurance when they travel. This is called a Green Card. We have now developed a smooth and seamless process for you to obtain a Green Card if you are planning on driving in the European Union on or after 29th March 2019. We will not charge you for this Green Card and it can be obtained by following the steps below: Login to your My account Select ‘Request Green Card’ from the My account homepage Follow the on-screen instructions Please be aware that there is no digital version available, a physical Green Card is the only valid format. Your request will be processed within 24 hours of receipt and sent to you in the post the next working day, first class. We recommend requesting your Green Card up to 4 weeks before you travel.

  19. If you want to check if the battery is aging. Refit it, crank the engine a couple of times for around 5 seconds a time with pump off so it doesnt fire. Leave it for 1/2 hr and re measure the voltage. If its still over 12.5 volts its good. Alternatively switch head lights on for 5 mins leave for 1/2 hr and re-measure.
