  1. Sorry about the time it took to do the update this morning, was a bit of a swine to say the least! The database will be re-indexing, so searches may be slow - hopefully there's no knock-on effects waiting to bite me! Chris

  2. A great day indeed. Thanks for organising another mucky run. Baggpuss couldn’t believe a WSCC Area Organiser-Organiser would dare show up in anything other than a Westie

  3. It's all exciting stuff. Going to Portugal just before Brexit day so I've spent the £5.50 on an International Driving Permit. All hand written at the Post Office, it takes them an age to match vehicle types covered against your driving licence. I thought it would be wise to be abroad on Brexit day to avoid the unrest and riots! Were going to Westminster shortly for a training course on "How the UK Parliament Works" expect to see most of the current Cabinet there with the PM in the corner at the back. Who says pensioners don't know how to have fun.

  4. Just an update today on driving abroad. Its still a mess with that 'B' word, just thinking of you all being legal over there and others contemplating an away trip over the water. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47459859

  6. It is nuts mate. As long as you all get sorted , but whoever you may meet over the water wouldn't have the foggiest what paperwork you had and what it means to you or anyone

  7. Thank you, I’m planning on attending as long as it’s dry with my brother in law who is a member already!

  8. I never really had issues starting my crossflow. A decent starter motor AND solenoid and decent quality cables and used to start after 3 pumps of the throttle after the pump ticks had slowed, although the use of the a luminition kit and good coil helped. That was with a high compression high spec engine. It does take a certain knack to get it going and a few moments of angry carbs popping and squeaking before settling down which is pretty normal with carbs and not using choke .
