  1. Well off it went on it’s trailer ride to Germany today! The new owner is a member on here so I’m sure it’ll be well cared for :-) - sad day, however the new beast will keep me from missing it too much...

  2. A little update today as after a 3-month wait (yes really!) I finally collected the wheels from the painters. Things didn't go exactly to plan for them as after two failed attempts at powder-coating they eventually 2-pack painted them as they were having issues with the finish bubbling during baking. We suspect it was some residue left behind from media blasting the original 1968 paint off as there was some soft gunge left behind in the corners of the webs that had to be cleaned out by hand but they didn't want to risk a third attempt at powder-coating hence why they sprayed them. To be fair to Impact Coatings though they honoured the original price we agreed which was actually from a quote they'd given me three years ago.

  4. Thanks Steve . We are on day 3 to gain markers so far and suspect we have 1 more day of work to get this buttoned up. Then when the boss isnt looking, to use all his A3 paper in making the maps up . Covering quite a reasonable area takes a lot of effort from Team TJ , so want as many people to turn out and enjoy the day Also have Carlie from A Plan coming out to see us , she says with little one . Trying to blag prizes from them too

  13. I was trying to be on topic. Is large up to 44” chest or 48”? What is XXL ? I don’t buy any of my clothes with these guides but with proper “normal” sizes. It would make the excercise much more accurate I am sure. Delete away if you feel off topic.

  14. Is there a size guide as has been asked for on another thread. Having just ordered work clothing this week the actual sizes in inches to the label medium, large etc vary quite a lot between manufacturers.

  15. What Chris said. As for Mallory I manage 120 mile round there last year & had a good day despite the track being on short side. But I've heard that they now charge if you damaged anything or mo the grass.
