  1. It’s the thing that stops Westfield owners moaning about how few miles they did last year!

  2. I built a forged engine for my friends one and loved driving it. The way they squat and launch is amusing. If you do get one and need to replace the clutch never ever assume the gearbox is the same weight as other gearboxes you have removed. If you do you may find yourself vpinned to the floor!

  4. Additional. Just been to collect my oil and filter after doing click and collect. 50% discount offer does include brakes as well, and looks like it lasts for 3 days NOT just today using code BLACKFRIDAY.

  5. The mono should top the list IMHO but of course we all have our favorites. With a three wheeled wooden shed coming 2nd makes me take the list with a healthy pinch of salt

  7. Good point, no I haven’t. I’ll have to get the bigger ladders out and climb up there over the weekend for a proper look.

  8. Update time..... Last night I ventured out into the darkest depths of Suffolk to collect the bodywork from Applied Fibreglass. For those wondering where they are, they make all the bodywork for Andy Bates AB Performance and are based in the unit next door to Andy. I'd asked them to refit the new bodywork in the moulds to minimise the risk of damage for the journey home so I hadn't had a chance to look at them when I got home last night, but tonight I popped the first part from the moulds and had a good look for the first time. Hopefully the weather will be good this weekend so I can work on the main body parts.

  9. They only get longer if you get out of bed earlier than lunchtime @AdgeC Looks ideal. If mine had to be outside , it would be doing the same. Instead it has a dehumidified painted garage , with the radio on so it doesnt get lonely

  12. It was fresh yesterday, we set off in fog at 8am for a 1 hour 15 minutes journey down the M1 and M42 to Sutton Coldfield (sunny) in the Westfield, which is probably as cold as we go. Glen had his 'baby grow' on which is a Dickies, overalls style padded suit, that he wears over his normal clothes. That's the easy way. I wear thermals and a jumper, then a fleece jacket, my WSCC windproof jacket and a ski type jacket on top (3 coats). We both wear the neck tubes and pull them over our face, then it is a beanie and a fur hat on top. For keeping our legs warm we put a black 'throw' over our legs, black so it doesn't show up too much. Lastly I wear ear muffs as I find they stop any wind getting into your head, oh and ski gloves are a must. Did I mention the hot water bottle on my lap? If only more people would put more clothes on then they would be able to enjoy all this wonderful weather in their cars. My advice is - put lots on, then go and put some more on, you can always take it off, I bet you don't. Well done Nigel for trying find a way to overcome the cold, it is too easy to not bother.
