  1. If I may add a suggestion, I bought some vinyl flooring from ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Quality-Vinyl-Flooring-Woods-Stone-and-Tile-Designs-Lino-Kitchen-NEW/131718710374?hash=item1eab0c0466:m:mgj4XStvSfGowDKPOpSPcKQ reasonably soft under feet, excellent for sweeping away drillings and cable tie ends. Also easy to mop up oils/fluids. Smooth enough to move a loaded engine hoist around too. About £70 for a 4m x 3m piece. Quick to lay as well. Non marking/scratching if placing bodywork on it.

  2. I think back to Jenson (I think) winning in Canada a few years ago in the wet. Vettel had lead for a while and JB was catching fast. Vettel made a mistake even before JB was close enough to have a lunge. It was enough to see him catching that caused Vettel to drop the ball, and as far as I can recall, every time he;s been head to head with LH, LH has come out on top the majority of the time. To be fair Vettel seemed to be able to fend off Mark Weber well enough but I think Vettel was just that couple of tenths faster more of the time, and of course there were team orders so really there was no pressure in the race. I'm ignoring Vettels inability to follow team orders obviously... Multi-21 anybody?

  3. Defintely a slider on there Chris. i am sure the DFV used a similar injection system. Mechanical fuel injection was same as the kugelfisher sp ? system potentially if not the same.

  4. As soon as ricciardo came in to RB and wooped his ass vettels bottom lip has been quivering and hasn't stopped since. I suspect it's going to get worse for him next season with a young keen less compliant team mate.

  5. Cool bit of kit! Given where the linkage sits, the large rectangular housing the trumpets sit on, and the springs running along the top of it, I wonder if there’s a slide throttle in there. Im sure it’s a fantastic classic motorsport engine package, but what a way to make a fantastic looking, classic engine start to look like the modern “white goods” Ecoboosts of the world!
