  1. Another one of mine from a slightly unusual angle - not sure I'd want to hang my DSLR out of the side of a Westy, but my son seemed happy enough to try it DSC_7109 by Lee Ogram, on Flickr Slightly shabby stainless silencer has now been replaced by a much more photogenic carbon jobbie

  2. I've spend my pennies... The wheels are 13" John Brown Wheels Smoothie's (67.1mm centre bore) in 5.5J ET20 (7.5Kg) for the front and 7J ET0 (8.3Kg) for the rear with Nankang NS-2R in 185/60R13 all around.

  3. Spent a few hours on Sunday doing a few minor tidy up jobs on my Westfield, took a quick photo of the back end now it has had the spare wheel removed, and a new "powered by Ford" emblem added above the reversing lamp. Very pleased with how it looks!

  8. Me an Nakki had fun travelling over the French / Swiss border, I had planned a TYRE software route very scenic and rural and we ended up having lunch (what we had left over from breakfast buffet lol) just before the border in a corn field in the middle of nowhere! then set off up a single track road which then turned to gravel so it was the end of the road again!

  10. We drove up from Lake Como today to meet @marcusb in Weggis Switzerland. I or can I say we? Intended to drive over the Brembo pass (I think that's what's it's called) anyway the satnav said no as showing no entry to pass? Don't know why so didn't want to commit and have to turn back. So another route was calculated and off we set. The difference in roads from Italy to Swiss is quite remarkable. So my top tip b******* Italy the roads are quite poor. Half of route was of motorway half on twisty's so made quite good progress. Anyway arrived at Weggis in Switzerland and Marcus and Nakki turn up 20 minutes later, couldn't have planned it better. Time for a cold beer to shake off the sweats as it still in the 30s.

  20. Longest day for us today driving wise, we started off at a brisk pace disembarking the boat as nakkib's 5 pints of Stella didn't agree with the boat and let's just say the cabin floor and walls were redecorated heres Nakki still a bit tender after 250 miles..

  23. Whilst assembling my diff I found a pair of M12 x 120 mm bolts missing but I did have a pair of M10. Obviously an error on packing. I spoke to Ian from WF (He's the man that loads you kit in your van) at about half two yesterday, explained the problem and the bolts arrived today at around twelve. Now that's impressive, credit where credit is due.

  25. I have two vastly different wheel sets for my car. For the street I use 13x7 Revolutions with 205/60-13 Toyo RA1's. When competing I use a set of Real Racing Wheels in a 13x10 with 21x9x13 Avon slicks. One set rides very nicely and handles very well....the other set rides very poorly but sticks like glue. Both are fun. dave
