  1. Hi Tom, I am very interested in the shiny engine if it is still available? I'm in Western Australia though. Are we able to ship it over?

  2. Jenvey sell manifolds for £200 plus the vat. I after talking to Martin at Raw am going to use standard injectors and fuel rail as per the zetec or the fuel side and modified weber 40's for the air. Cheaper than going throttle bodies and will look good to.

  3. Mine was terrible with a ford shifter but great with a quaife built one.

  4. I generally reduce my image size to about 2000x1600 pixels prior to attaching. That seems to make things smooth and quick.

  6. I truely wouldn't have thought I'd lose everyone to a BTCC event in Scotland! No probs for 2019 - no BTCC that weekend! Any other car/race event that might trip it up? We had cracking weather in July when we plotted the run? Can't quarantee that in Scotland though!

  7. As Garry said, do both. get a bit of write up in the Area Reports, But also try and be an advert together, be it 1/4 page or whatever, both can be submitted through Gary, but if you need, myself, AO Rep Julie, Chairman Andy or any of the other committee members can have a word with Peter, too. Start planning it into people’s diarries as soon as possible, and at the same time, sewing the seeds into members minds and building expectations etc! Maybe doing a piece on it as well as an advert, with plenty of photos, to whet peoples appetites? the e-mail address aos@wscc.co.uk can be used to fire an e-mail off to all the Area Organisers if you want to keep them all up to date and ask for support to help promote it at meets etc.

  9. Hi from the Peak District. It is heartbreaking to read your position and my sympathy goes out to you. I have just helped a lady sell her late husbands Westfield, he had a short battle with an aggressive cancer and after his death she could not get to grips with driving it. It took nearly 2 years for her to even face letting it go and I still think about her, it's very sad. You will find everyone on here will help you along should you need it, they are a friendly bunch of folks. Julie

  11. Very sorry for your loss, how terrible, yet how marvellous that you have the car and use it as a tribute to him. No doubt he’d want you to enjoy it as often as possible and think of your journeys together. Swept wings too, he was obviously a man of great taste! Thanks for joining the club, it’s a great bunch of people in here, all wise, generous, good looking, intelligent, thoughtful and most of all, modest.
