  1. I am pleased to say that Siltech Racing and Aerodynamix (some of our valued Speed Series sponsors) will be in attendance over the weekend including Friday to show off some of their wares and to offer advice / chat to Westfielders in general. Please have a look at their products and make them welcome

  3. Well, as usual @CosKev didn't bring any cash out for today's blat around Shropshire, instead he invited himself back to my gaff for a free cup of tea. Just as well I'd had the foresight to buy him his very own personalised mug with his name on the bottom...

  5. Hi Party Goers The Good News is I have got the Min Bus price back down to £3-00 each as long as we have 20 people using this service on the night! We have capacity for 24 people (3 rides of 8) and the the number of people requesting rides is 24! We have had kind offers of lifts from Adam R Barney and Stephen H but if we can get at least 20 people using the service going to the pub then we will cover the cost of the bus trips and a tip for the driver at the great price of £3-00 per passenger This year we are changing the process slightly please have your £3-00 ready as you board the bus and Marto (Blakey) will collect it from you as you get on! Thanks for your help in the matter and I look forward to seeing you all again on Friday! BR Glutey

  8. Well that’s us just in wow, left 8.30 in the morning and in now at almost 10.30 lol, it’s been a great day out with like minded folk friends old and new on some fantastic roads First we headed up to Inverness to cars and coffee and met up with Andy, Doug, Stephen and David and family had the pleasure of looking over some great cars. Andy had to shoot off but it was great to meet him and his caged green meanie ! From here it was off over the Black Isle to slaughterhouse for some great coffee and lunch then back over to contin for fuel and to meet up with the welsh posse, so briefly we were up to 10 Westies and James Alfa, after a quick hello and a few pictures, Doug headed off northwards in his immaculate fw , so 10 cars headed for Ullapool for hotel food bear , and for us a chippie tea and blether, after saying our goodbyes it was homeward bound and what a great run back it was the traffic was light and the roads were flowing well at Dingwall we said goodbye to Stephen and at Inverness we branched off for Home just missing the rain , again light traffic saw good progress and us home tired but what a great day Thanks to everyone who made it along

  9. It's a slippery slope... A friend of my brother's retired and his wife said she didn't really mind him watching the horse racing on TV in the afternoon but did he have to do it still wearing his pyjamas?

  17. Yes, and the bloke to his left looks far too small ! Bet he can't even reach the pedals, poor guy! Great day yesterday. Really enjoyed it. Hope to meet the N Wales guys again this week. Even if I can't get time off work for a daytime run, I'll go across to their hotel one evening for a drink and a blether.

  20. BEER ORDERED Two pins (2* 36 pints boxed bright) of real ale from Irwell Brewery.... 1* Costa del Salford, a pale with some hopping which went down well last year 1* Navigator, more traditional bitter styled ale. 1st brew of this popular special for a while, which I've just sampled to check it's up to WSCC requirements. These come in at £2 per pint so charitable donations should be suitably generous . It will be serve yourself with honesty box charity bucket as last year. Please bring a suitable drinking receptacle (of known volume, 1 or 1/2 pints)

  23. Steering wheels are so personal. I'd get yourself over to somewhere like, Demon Tweaks as they have a good display you can try for feel etc. Or your local WSCC Meet, where you can talk to lots of other owners about their wheels and try them out. We'd need more details on your car/column to advise 100%. I've got a Works Bell Rapifix- http://www.plays-kool.co.uk/acatalog/WorksBell.html It come with a weld on lug, so doesn't matter about the splines if you go this route. The wheel, pedals and gear stick are the interface with our excellent cars, so take some time to get these aspects right and it's really worth it!

  27. Couple from about an hour ago, thought I'd miss the pain of watching England playing Columbia and catch the roads while they were emptyish. Timed in perfectly so I thought and arrived home at the 89th minute. The Rest as they say is history still to be written. Stopped at Cleehill for a while.
