Hi All I recently signed up to the club after purchasing my very own Westfield Megablade. Its very early days yet but the car seems to be in good condition however there are one or two little snags that need attention like a faulty oil pressure gauge/sender (they seem to be an issue with the BEC cars). However i know very little about the car so if anyone on here knows anything about it that would be most helpful. I'm based in the Liverpool area and hoping to meet fellow Westfield owners (hopefully some BEC owners as well) at the local area meet across the water in the Wirral whenever the next one is. Also the car came with a hood and side screens but they have never been fitted to the car, im not sure i have the skill in order to get the fitment how id want it does any body know of a professional fitter in the north west region? Just a quick post to give a thumbs up to the Westfield team. Today I emailed Ian Galloway at the factory with a technical question. He sent 2 emails back in next to no time with the answers I needed

Couple from about an hour ago, thought I'd miss the pain of watching England playing Columbia and catch the roads while they were emptyish. Timed in perfectly so I thought and arrived home at the 89th minute. The Rest as they say is history still to be written. Stopped at Cleehill for a while.

Hi @CosKev Thanks for the reply, I'm sure i will be going on a blatt round wales, do you ever go to the local area meets? In Particular the Wirral based one? what kind of turn out do they get if you don't mind me asking? Ha your'e born into it so you don't get much choice i wouldn't change my allegiances for anything now although last season was definitely a trying one!! Still onwards and upwards.

No point keeping quiet Dave, too many witnesses! Besides he was only trying to keep up with my own lawn mowing exploits BTW to the forum Gab, hope to see you again at the next meeting.

There's plenty of time to purchase a recording device! I couldn't be without one, you can learn such a lot by watching what your doing wrong afterwards.

Had a little "moment" today and managed to run into the crash bar on the back of a Dutch truck. Isn't that ironic? My bodywork is 1998 vintage, so the old Kit shape. Would love the same colour nose cone again, but tbh, any colour should do, as long as it is in one piece. My cycle wings are Carbon NV, so a single of the Aero+, or a pair of something else may tickle my fancy... Idiot Q.
