My first photos! - I've had the car since 1st April and tinkered a little bit - new tyres, new steering rack, geometry setup (but I still want to go to Procomp for a full corner-weighting session) I had a quick blat tonight in the sunshine and stopped off at the Shugborough Estate as the sun was going down - great light for Chrome Yellow!5 points

I have now been given the information on where we park for this years show. If you look on the map we are on Blue 4 which is right on the back of the old pits/paddocks. Not so good for watching the racing but good for a nosy round. We have a lot less cars this year and looking at the map everyone apart from the Porsche's have moved around. SC18 Light Blue Zones v15.pdf It should be easy to get to so rather than driving around the Jag drift experience you stay on the main drag and go over the big bridge and turn left at the island. We have different neighbours as well. See you there.2 points

Meet at Sainsbury's, Matlock, DE4 3SP 10.30am for the big circular road to nowhere. Actually I have only just got back off holiday and I need to have a think about where we are going, it's got to be the high ground, possibly Buxton, while the weather is favourable. Anyone joining us?1 point

They raised their garden, ours has always been at this level. Ideally they pay for it all (I would say that), but I would have no objection to having to contribute if it allows me to set timescale and looks.1 point

A retaining "wall" which is what the beams effectively are if I understand the O/P correctly, would almost invariably belong to the owner of the higher ground, and therefor be their responsibility to maintain, because it is there to support the land/buildings on that owner's property. So you certainly should expect them to sort out the problem or at least pay for it. After all, if you do nothing and the rest of the boards rot away it is the neighbour's property which is going to collapse onto your property. The one exception to this is if your property was originally at a higher level, and for some reason was excavated from your side, perhaps to get a better level from your point of view. In that case, it would be your responsibility to replace the support to your neighbour's property which it enjoyed from your land before it was excavated. However from reading the O/P that seems unlikely to have been the case.1 point
