  1. Just like to say a huge public “thank you” to Luke and Chris at @Plays-Kool This is a purely personal thank you (and recommendation) as I feel credit really is due when you receive truly exceptional service. What started out as a bit of a favour ended up with them taking over to save the day I’ll not bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that when my back gave out part way through putting the diff back in, Luke and Chris dropped everything and did what was required to ensure my car was back together. Thank you both for your generosity and professional help - and what’s more,, thanks to your efforts my car now goes around corners way better than it did before!

  2. I used to go to the Nürburgring regularly, multiple trips a year. Sadly, my last trip was 2016 and my mate Dave hasn't been since 2014. We've both got the day off tomorrow so decided to head over for a day trip. The rough plan is this: Leave at 0600 Tunnel at 0850 Arrive Nürburgring around 1400 Catch up with some old friends, spot of lunch until track opens for TF @ 1715 1715 - 1900 laps! Head home at 1900 for the 2330 tunnel Tucked up in bed by 0100. The weather forecast is hot and stormy. Happy to keep you up to date on progress if anyone cares.

  6. We as the WSCC Cotswold have booked our own private track day at Llandow. This is a great opportunity to be on track with everyone we know and people we can trust. This is also a very good track on which to lose your track day cherry.HOW THE DAY WILL BE RUNWe will have 3 groups to start the day, beginner, intermediate and an advance group for 15-20 min sessions for 1 or 2 rounds. This is so that people can find their feet and get to know the track again or for the first time. Then it will be an open pit lane with loads of track time due to the limited number of cars!!!LIMITED NUMBERS TO JUST 30 CARS!!!COST AND TIMINGS£90 - Single Driver (1 car) £25 - Extra Driver Friday 14th September 2018 Gates open and sign on at 08:00 Briefing 08:30 ish Cars on track 09:30 ish (or when Jon stops talking) Please PM or email me "Cotswolds@wscc.co.uk" to book your place To avoid any potential misunderstandings, the Committee would like to remind everyone that although this event is being shown on the WSCC Forums, it is not organised by the WSCC and is not an official WSCC Track Day event, and as such, it is not covered by the WSCC's insurance - so it's up to each individual attending the event to ensure that they are adequately covered.

  24. Did as you suggested with the rear toe, plus fitted a Quaife ATB. Not had the chance to really test it, but the car definitely “feels” way more settled going into and then coming out of the odd tight country lane I’ve managed to throw it into. It just grips and fires out in a very nice controlled fashion. Can’t wait to try it on track again!

  39. Definitely an in joke! Goes back a few years when it was just a few of us and we had our initials down by our orders. Waitress came out and said "who's got the gluten free meal?" - all looked blank until we realised she mistook Graham Franklands initials to mean gluten free. Hence why he is now known as Glutey! One of those funny at the time things maybe!! But a legend none the less. As is Graham!
